Martha Ellen Burton married William Otha (Othie) Knight. She was the only daughter of John Chrisman and Sarah Anderson Burton. Othie is the son of Jesse and Ripley Hayes Knight. Their daughter in the photo was Sarah Ruth Knight named after her grandmother Sarah Anderson. Their two sons are LtoR: Albert and Paul Knight. Albert was named after his uncle Albert Burton. Paul was named after his uncle Alford Paul Burton.

Sarah R. Knight is the oldest of four children; Sarah is the child of  William Otha (Othie) and Martha Ellen Burton Knight. She was borne in Adair Co., Kentucky.
