Crocus post office was located on(present day) Hwy 1313, just off Hwy 55 &
not far removed from the Adair-Russell County line. The old Montpelier post
office was in Adair Co. on Hwy 92, a few hundred feet from the Adair-Russell Co.
line. Because of the proximity of these community centers to the county line,
the births and/or places of residence could have been in either county.
