Sanders – Moss Marriage

The home of Mr. J. M. Campbell in the quiet little village of Pellyton, on the waters of Green River, was the place of a joyous gathering last Saturday evening, August the 4th.   The occasion was the celebration of the marriage between Prof. Richard R. Moss and Miss Lynnie Sanders.  When the bridal couple appeared on the front veranda a large company of friends had gathered in the yard.   The bride was very pretty in a beautiful dress of white.   The impressive ritual service of the Methodist Church was said by Rev A. R. Kasey, of Columbia. Immediately following the ceremony a sumptuous feast was spread to which more than a hundred guests sat down. Mrs. Moss is the daughter of Mrs J. M. Campbell of Pellyton.   She was a student in the Lindsay – Wilson Training School last year, and pursued here studies with serious devotion.   She possesses those graces that give to womanhood its charms. Prof. Moss is at the head of the Normal Department in the Lindnsay-Wilson, and during his three years connections with the institution, has made a very enviable reputation as an educator. After the honeymoon, Prof. and Mrs. Moss will return to Columbia, where they will make their home, Prof Moss continuing his connection with the school.
