Answered The Roll Call

Mr. I. C. Harmon, Who was a Merchant at Edith, this County, Passes Over the River

Member of the Masonic Fraternity

Adair county lost a most excellent citizen last Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock when Isaac C. Harman finished his life work. He was known to every body in the Green River section of this county where he was born and reared. He was a popular gentleman, and his death brought sorrow to many homes.

For a number of years he sold goods at Edith, and he also had a farm cultivated. He was a very obliging neighbor, and his place in the community will be hard to fill. He was a devoted husband and father, leaving his wife and children a record of spotless living. He was a Master Mason, having connected himself with the fraternity when quite a young man. The funeral was held Saturday at 11 o'clock a. m. and the last rites were performed by the fraternity. He was about 63 years old.
