Ballard County Land Records

A courthouse fire in 1880 destroyed the original deed books. Volumes A-D re-record the deeds, but not in date order.

Copies are available from the KY State Archives, Ballard County Clerk's Office, and the LDS Microfilm #1550685; Deeds General Index 1 & 2 (1880-1922) & # 977105: which includes Vol. A-B & C-D (1842 - 1880); Deeds Vol. 1 begins the post 1880 land records.
