Madon, Daisy Parker -89, of Pineville, passed away on
Monday, November 15, 2004 at the Middlesboro Health Care Facility. She was
born in Bell County on September 15, 1915 the daughter of the late William
and Axie Bailey Parker. She was a member
of Moss Chapel Baptist Church and
had been a homemaker. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and
grandmother and
friend to all. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by sisters, Lily Parker, Maude Parker and Louvinia Wolfe.
Survivors include her husband, Austin

MAGUIRE, JEWELL -Funeral services Monday were
being conducted in Loving Memory of Jewell Magutre age 73 a resident of
Fourmile, KY. Passed away Friday April 1, 2005 at the Pineville Community
Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1931 in Fourmile, KY. The daughter to
the late John P. Hendrickson and the late Ester Bishop Hendrickson. She
believed in the Pentecostal Faith. She retired from the Pineville Community
Hospital after many years of Faithful service. Beside her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband James Richard Maguire three sisters Dora
Young and Evelyn Hendrickson and Rose Hendrickson, two brothers John
Hendrickson Jr. and Virgil Hendrickson. Left mourn her passing are the
following members of her family. Two sons and their wife: Johnny Maguire
and wife Patricia of Fourmile, KY, Joe Maguire and wife Diann of Fourmile,
KY. Two brothers: Eugene Hendrickson of Hazard, KY and Charlie Hendrickson
of Bonita Springs, FL. One sister Marinia Alfred of Cal, four grandchildren
and one great grandchild and a host of other friends and relatives and loved
ones.Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Monday April 4, 2005 at the
Creech-Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stan Lewis, and Rev. William
Wolfe. Music was provided by Donna Mills and Paula Griffith, interment
followed in the Hendrickson Cemetery Fourmile, KY. Pallbearers were
Michael, Joshua and Joe Thomas Maguire, Dustin and Allen Wolfe, and William

Martin, Helen -Pineville
- 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at the Pineville Community
Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1937, at Balkan, the daughter of the late
Lillie Ada Owens Mills and Rufus Mills, Sr. She was a member of the Corbin
Presbyterian Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Bell County High School and a
1956 graduate of the Knoxville Business College. She had been a bookkeeper
for First State Bank, Commercial Bank and Delaware Powder. She was also a
great supporter of the University of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by
her parents and a brother, Rufus C. Mills Jr. Survivors include her husband,
George Phillip Martin; children, George Phillip Martin Jr. and his wife
Bridgett of Huntsville, Ala., Dr. Jeanne Martin and her husband, Rupert
Sherratt of Corbin, and John Sheridan Martin and wife Robyn of Somerville,
Ala.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Caitlyn and Peter Martin; sister Elizabeth
Fuson of Longwood, Fla.; sister-in-law, Edna Mills of Pineville; and a host of
nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian
Church, Pineville, with the Rev. Paul Henschen officiating. Burial will be in

Matthews, Arnold
-age 86, of St. Augustine, Florida, died on May 15, 2003, at Mariner
Health Center of St. Augustine. He was a native of Pineville, Kentucky where he
lived most of his life before moving to St. Augustine in 1995. He was a retired
grocery store owner/operator and was a member of the West Pineville Baptist
Church. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at the North
Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville, Florida, with Reverend Doyle Harper
officiating. Interment followed in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville. He
was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Doris Matthews, who died on May
9, 2003. He is survived by his son, Ernie Matthews and daughter-in-law Andrea
Matthews of St. Augustine. Kotrady-Hudgina-Croyle Funeral Home was in charge of
local arrangements.

and Cora Tinnel Marsee. A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she loved

McGeorge, Edmus -93,
of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Middlesboro
Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born at Wasioto on December 8, 1911 a
son of the late John and Laura Jackson McGeorge. He was a member of the
Calvin Primitive Baptist Church and had been an assistant Foreman for the
Department of Transportation. Mr. McGeorge served as a Magistrate for 8
years and for many years served as a Precinct Chairman for the Democratic
Party. He was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by a sister, Frankie Hobbs, brothers, Matt McGeorge and
Otto McGeorge and a son-in-law, Herman Carter. Survivors include his wife,
Virgie Cox McGeorge, children and their spouses, Beatrice Carter, Harold and
Sharon McGeorge, James and Kyong Min McGeorge, Laura and Dickie Blanton,

Age 78, of
Dayton (formerly of
Pineville, KY), went Home to be with the Lord peacefully Monday,
January 14, 2008, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of
35 years, Levi McGeorge, in 1986. Mildred is survived by five children,
Glenn & Lynn Smith, Paul McGeorge, Darlene Wilkes, Marilyn Kay & William
Brown, and Timothy & Janet McGeorge; seven grandchildren, Sheila, Paul Levi,
Patrick, Brian, Dustin, Daniel and Steven ; five great grandchildren;
Brandon, Ian, Able, Noah and Olivia; and by one brother, Denver & Janet
Grubbs. Mildred was a life-long member of the Church of God,
Tennessee Assembly. She will be remembered by her family as a loving
and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by
all who knew her. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00
p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road,

Avil Leonard -79 of Rutledge, TN, formerly of Pineville, passed
away Sunday June 27, 2004 at his home in Rutledge after a brief illness.
He was born in Pineville September 7, 1924 and had been a former resident of
Louisville. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving
in World War II and the Korean War as First Lieutenant and pilot. He was a
member of the First United Methodist Church in Morristown, TN. He had
served as President for Kentucky Blue Cross Blue Shield, and was a past
president of the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival and past president of the
Kentucky Jaycees. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise McKinney of
Rutledge, TN; daughter, Barbara and Jerry Benware of Louisville; son Len and
Connie McKinney of Louisville; grandchildren, Pvt. Tyler White, USMC of Camp
LeJune, NC, Spenser White and Eric McKinney; sister Mrs. Christine Wilder of
Memphis, TN. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 29 at the First Methodist
Church in Morristown with Dr. Darris Doyal and Rev. Ellen Fisher

Memorial Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Air Force and the

Ocie E. -90, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at
Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.She had been a resident of Lee
County, Va., most of her life, and was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist
Church. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge #88 of Rose Hill.She was
preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Scott, Roy Lee Smith and Albert
McMellan; one son, Jerry Wayne Scott; parents, George and Joyce Van Huss;
and a brother, Lonnie Van Huss.She is survived by two sons, Wendell Scott
and wife Joyce of Rose Hill, and George and wife Sharon Scott of Lily, Ky.;
two grandchildren, Regina Seabolt and husband Randy of Rose Hill, Va., and
George (Scotty) Scott and wife Fay of Rose Hill, Va.; four
great-grandchildren, Hanna Elizabeth Seabolt, Dominique Nicole Scott, Page
Scott and Michael Lee Scott.Funeral service were held at 8 p.m. Monday at
Arney-Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Charles Long and the
Rev. Jay Harold Smith officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the
Van Huss Grove Cemetery in Rose Hill, Va. Those attending the graveside
service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Arney-Mullins
Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Va., which is in charge of arrangements.

John Orville -a resident of Pineville, Kentucky passed away
Friday September 30, 2005 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born
January 4, 1931 in Arjay, Kentucky the son of the late Aubra McPherson and
Mamie Francis McPherson. He was a believer in the church of God and was a
minister, songwriter, recording artist, a mason and builder of the WRIL
Radio Station Broadcast engineer. Other than his parents he was preceded in
death by sisters Ruby Campbell, Inna Stewart, Rosella Wyatt, Loretta (Toots)
Martin, Nora Lee Gambrel; one brother Billy James McPherson. At the time of
his passing he was 74 years old. He is survived by the following members of
his family; 1 son John Duane McPherson from Richmond, VA; one daughter;
Theresa Gayle McPherson from Richmond, VA, a loving ex-wife and mother of
his children, Jackie McPherson; one loving grandson, Brandon Lee Davis and
three sisters, Yvonne Roop of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Uldean Miller of
London, Kentucky and Eunice Marum of Pineville, Kentucky, and a host of
nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held
at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the Creech-Durham Funeral Home in
Pineville with the Rev. Theo O Carter presiding. Pallbearers were his
nephews. Interment followed in the Red Hill Cemetery in Arjay, Kentucky.
Visitation was Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the Creech Durham Funeral Home,
which was in charge of arrangements.

MIDDLETON, DANNY -Services were conducted in
loving memory of Danny Middleton, a resident of Hulen, Kentucky who passed
away January 16, 2005 in Pathfork, KY. Mr. Middleton was born April 15,
1945 in Pineville, KY the son of the late Levi Middleton and Nancy Ashabaugh
Middleton. He was a believer in the Baptist Faith and was a coal miner.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew Phillip Russell
Middleton. At the time of his death he was 55 years old. He is survived by
the following members of his family: His wife Darlene Wilson Middleton of
Hulen, KY, son and daughter in law; Daniel Robert and Jerrilynn Middleton of
Middlesboro, KY; one daughter, Morgan Brooke Middleton of Hulen, KY, 2
brothers, Eddie Dean Middleton and Estill Middleton both of Hulen, KY, 2
sisters; Rose Mary Perry of Hulen, KY and Sandra Elliott of Middlesboro, KY,
2 grandchildren, Kirsten Danielle Middleton and Jacob Ryan Middleton and a
host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services for Mr. Middleton were
held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Tugglesville Baptist Church with Rev, Cecil
Hensley and Rev. Ray Stepp. Interment followed in the Saylor Cemetery in

MILLER, EFFIE LOUISE -Services were conducted in
loving memory of Effie Louise Miller, a resident of Fourmile, Kentucky who
passed away Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Pineville Community Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1942 in Fourmile, Kentucky, the daughter of the late
Huey Miller and Nancy Lawson Miller. She was a believer in the Holiness
Faith. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,
Fred Lawson, 3 sons; Huey, Roger and Darrell, one brother; Lester Miller, 3
sisters; Pauline, Edna and Ethel. At the time of her death she was 62 years
old.
She is survived by the following members of her family: 2 daughters and son
in laws; Barbara and JD Patterson of Pineville, KY and Patricia and Curtis
Rogers of Pineville, KY, two sons and daughter in laws; Charles and Stacy
Lawson and Curtis and Jennifer Rogers both of Pineville, KY, four sisters;
Mary Jackson, Mossie Posey, Delora Newton, and Flo Smith; 2 brothers, Huey
Miller and Bill Miller; 9 grandchildren, Brandy, Tabetha, Jennifer, Robin,
Tony, Robert, Jonathan, Ethan, Chucky, 8 great grandchildren; Curtis, Haylie,
Brianna, Johnny, Brandon, Shania, Brittney and Baby Hensley along with a
host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm
Tuesday at the Creech Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur E. Jackson
and Rev. Russell Murphy officiating. Music was provided by Arthur Jackson
and Russell Murphy. Interment followed in the Bain Cemetery at Fourmile,

Miller, Hazel Woolum,
age 72, a resident of Pineville, Ky., died Friday, April 22, 1988 at the
Pineville Community Hospital. She was born June 17, 1915 in Bell County,
Ky., the daughter of the late Boyd Woolum and Mary Knuckles Woolum. She believed
in the Baptist Faith. She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Mary Johnson,
Arjay, Ky., Orate J. Miller, East Pineville, Ky., Claude Miller, Log Mountain,
Pineville, Ky., Bobby Ray Miller, Pineville, Ky., Phillip Miller, Oaks,
Oklahoma, Estill Miller, and Donald Ray Napier, both of East Pineville, Ky., one

Mills, Asher -73,
of Arjay, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Claiborne County
Hospital. He was born in Rella, KY on April 24, 1932 the son of the late
Anderson and Mollie Asher Mills. He had served in the United States Army
during the Korean Conflict. Mills was an Elementary Teacher at the Arjay
Elementary School. Survivors include his sons, Phillip Mills and Lonnie
Mills, the mother of his sons, Idella Pittman; brothers and sister, Aubrey
Mills, Della Saylor, Ewell Mills and Curt Mills and a host of nieces and
nephews. Services were at 10:00 AM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral
Home with Rev. Millard Robbins. Burial was in the Green Hills Memorial
Gardens at Middlesboro. Pallbearers were family and friends. The family

passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Pineville Community Hospital.She was
born at Stoney Fork on Oct. 20, 1919, the daughter of the late Soloman and
Susie Asher. She was a Pentecostal and had been a cook for the Ritter Lumber
Company.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister,
Della Saylor; and brothers, Andrew, Squire, Wilburn and Otis
Saylor.Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William Mills; sister,
Laura Tester; brother, Willie B. Saylor; and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stoney
Fork Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Darrell Lowe and the Rev. Jeff Baker

-65, of Nicholasville, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, April
5, 2005 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Flat Lick,
KY on October 30, 1939 the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Walker
Hunter. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by a sister, Helen Pearman and brothers, Thurman and Jack Hunter.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Charles A. (Andy) and
Tammy Mills of Acworth, GA and Jane Lee Mills and William Warren;
grandchildren, Chris and Aaron Mills; brothers and sisters and their
spouses, Charles and Maxine Hunter of Evarts, Andrew Hunter of Frankfort and

the Blackmont Pentecostal Church following a sudden illness. She was born in

was proceeded in death by her husband Rufus C. Mills Sr. Survivors include: 2

Hances Creek, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the East Tennessee
Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. He was born in Pittman’s Creek on June 24, 1935
the son of the late Robert and Carrie Hoskins Miracle. He was a United States
Army Veteran. He had been a truck driver for Southwestern Ohio Steel and was an
avid sportsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a
brother, Gordon Miracle, nephew, Eddie Dewayne Robbins and a niece, Laura Jean

Miracle, Christopher Clyde--He was born in Pineville, on June 5, 1962,
and was the son of Clyde and Evelyn Partin Miracle. He was a member of the Fuson
Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at Little Clear Creek and had worked in
construction. He served as a U.S. Marine for three years as a lance corporal,
served an l8 month tour of duty overseas and was honorably discharged in 1983.He
was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vantoy and Bertha Partin, and Millard
and Ester Miracle. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and
Michael Willis, and grandson, Axel Clyde Willis, all of Goochland, Va.; parents,
Clyde and Evelyn Miracle of Pineville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and
Amanda Miracle of Pineville, Danny and Donna Miracle of Harrogate, and Billy and

January 31, 1947 in Little Clear Creek the daughter of the late Vantoy and
Bertha Hunter Partin. She was a member of the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist
Church. She had been a Home Health Aid for the Bell County Health Department and
had been a Teachers Aid for the Bell County School System. In addition to her

-80, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Middlesboro
Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Davisburg, KY on March 8, 1924 the
son of the late Hillary Lloyd and Mollie Belle Lee Miracle. He served in the
United States Army for eight years. Mr. Miracle was a Bell County Magistrate for
8 years, worked for Adventure Coal for 14 years and R.L. Miracle Chevron for 16
years. He was a member, deacon and choir leader for Calvary Baptist Church at
Tinsley for over 40 years. He was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Miracle Good and a
brother, Joe Miracle. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Jackson Miracle,
children, Frandlynn and James Wyrick and Michael S. and Pam Good, grandson, Joe
William Daniels, granddaughter, Christen Michelle Good, great-granddaughter,

MIRACLE, MART -94-CLAIRFIED, Tenn. - The Rev. Mart
Miracle, 94 , died Wednesday December 26, 1990 at the Jellico Community
Hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1896 in Bell County, the son of Jasper Miracle
and Polly Partin Miracle. He was pastor of the Buffalo Missionary Baptist
Church for 45 years and was ordained a Missionary Baptist preacher in 1933. He
was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America and a member of the
New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife,
Betsy Miracle, one daughter, Ruth Blackburn, two grandsons, Alva Partin and
Wilburn Daugherty. Survivors include his wife, Elva Miracle, Clairfield ; one
son, John Wesley Miracle, Frakes ; two daughters, Axie Daugherty and Cassie
Partin, both of Frakes ; two step-daughters, Edith Owens, LaFollette, Tenn.,
Birdie Maiden, Frakes ; 28 grandchildren ; 51 great grandchildren and 14 great
great grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. today at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs.
Clarence Teague and Edgar Maiden presiding.Music will be provided by the New

MIRACLE, RHODA -CALVIN - Rhoda Miracle, 88, passed away Monday, Jan.
30, 2006, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville. She was born
Feb. 28, 1917, in Bell County, a daughter of the late Sampson and America
Miracle. She was a member of East Pineville Baptist Church. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Virgil “Shorty”
Miracle; three brothers, Sampson Miracle Jr., Lee Miracle and Bud Miracle; and
three sisters, Ethel Estep, Annie Brown, and Georgia Retford. Survivors include
two daughters, Linda (Charles) Bray, Frakes, and Betty Bryant, Harrogate, Tenn.;
granddaughter, Kathy (Terry) Partin, Frakes; great-grandson, Charles Victor
“Charlie” Partin, Frakes; three sisters, Tish (Ray) Weatherington, Oxford,
Mich., Clara (Marvin) Martin, Lake Orion, Mich., and Elizabeth Black, Clarkston,
Mich.; three brothers, Edward Miracle, Clarkston, Mich., Eddie (Margie) Miracle,
Davisburg, Mich., Lee (Peggy “Cleo”) Miracle, Lake Orion, Mich.; special friend,
Jerry Halcomb, Calvin; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral
services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev.
Shelby Money and the Rev. Marty Bramble presiding. Music will be provided by the
East Pineville Baptist Church choir and Dale Eldridge. Interment will be at 11
a.m. Thursday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends
from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge
of arrangements.

Moffit, Richard Gale - Pathfork, Ky. - 58, passed away
Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at Knox County Hospital after a long illness. Born May 23,
1947, in Arkansas City, Kansas, he was a son of the late Vernon Moffit and Betty
Suits Moffitt. He was a veteran, serving 12 years in the Army and Air Force,
where he served as a Airmedic in Vietnam. He was retired from the Military
Hospital at Fort Campbell, and was a graduate of the Gupton School of Mortuary
Science. He accepted Christ and was baptized into the Holiness faith. Survivors
include his wife, Carolyn Moffitt, Pathfork; three stepsons, Gene Gelner,
Newport News, Va., Steve Gelner, Chesapeake, Va., and Richard Gelner, Pathfork,
Ky.; one brother, David Moffitt, Topeka, Kansas; five step-grandchildren,
Lindsay Gelner, Julian Gelner, Raleigh Gelner, Lauren and Madison Gelner;
special friends, Bill and Glenn from the Fort Campbell Army Hospital, and other
special friends Ed Gilbert, James Turner and James Williams; and a host of other
relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the
Pathfork Holiness Church with the Rev. Everett Eads, the Rev. Ronnie Oplinger,
and the Rev. Robert Lee president, with testimonial by Thomas King Evans. Music
will be provided the Pathfork Holiness Church singers. Interment will be in the
Saylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at

MONEY, GLADYS F., of Suffolk, Virginia, aged 84, formerly of
Pineville and Van Wert, Ohio, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
She was born December 11, 1924, in Pineville, the daughter of the late Chester A
and Ollie (Warren) Fuson. She married Edgar L Money who died February 27, 1996.
She was a member of the Samaria Missionary Baptist Church in Saint Mary’s
Ohio. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Chester
A Fuson (Junior); and sisters, Ethel Johnson, Clora Bulley, and Zella
Miller. She is survived by son, Edgar G (Karen) Money, Van Wert, Ohio; and
daughters, Zella D (Clint) Smith, Chesapeake, Va., and Mary L (Russel) Holloway,
Wartburg, Tenn. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, at
Shumate Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will follow at Peavie Cemetery
above Harmony Church.

MOODY, GLADYS, 76, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Claiborne County Hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Lee County, Va., a daughter of the late Clay and Lucy Mink Fletcher. She was a member of
Binghamtown Baptist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Tom and wife, Nancy, Harrogate, Tenn., Steve, Middlesboro; two sisters, Marie Martin, Cincinnati, Ohio,
Wanda Welch, Jonesville, Va.; three grandchildren, Adam and Mykel, Knoxville, Tenn., Travis, Nashville, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. William Boyd Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by Jimmy Jackson and Dickie Siler. Burial will be in Shoffner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stanley Alexander, Leroy Brown, Rodney Buckner, Doug Hall, Bill Welch Jr., William Clay Welch. Morrison, Mary V. -age 79 of West Plains, Mo went home to be with the
Lord on June 29. She died at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in
Pineville, KY on July 9, 1924 to Allie Smith Hoskins and Jessie K. Hoskins. She
lived in Kentucky until 1997 when she relocated to LaFollette. After the loss of
her companion or more than 50 years in April 2004, she moved to West Plains in
July 2003 to be near her daughter. She spent more than 30 years working in
retail sales, amassing many friends over the years. She always had a smile and
kind words for her customers. She loved the Lord and had attended United
Freewill Baptist Church since moving to West Plains. She was a very loving
mother and mamaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Morrison;
mother and father; two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hammond
and husband, Darr of West Plains, MO; son, David Morrison and wife, Kathy of
LaFollette; sister, Ruby Hupp, Williamsburg, KY; several nieces and nephews;
grandchildren, Dawn DeRoch, Mi, Brent Byrd, MI, Fred Byrd, Ky, John Byrd, MO,
Michael Byrd, LaFollette, Elijah Morrison, Dane Morrison, and Eric Morrison, all
of Ky, Channyn Morrison, Il,
Shawn Morrison, serving the United States Army at Fort Gordon, Ga, Nicole
Gravely, Ga; eight great grandchildren. Funeral services and interment were July
2 at the State Line Cemetery with Rev. Clarence Burton officiating. Memorial
contributions may be made to the State Line Cemetery and may be mailed to the
Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Robertson-Drago Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.

Mullins, Grace Lee Harp- age 61, of Arthur, Tennessee, passed away
October 11, 2004 at the Claiborne County Hospital. Born June 22, 1943 in Bell
County, Ky. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to sew. Preceded in
death by her mother, Lilly Ray Harp; son, Michael Miracle, and husband, Jasper
Miracle. Survivors, husband, Harold Mullins, Arthur; father, Elmer Harp,Speedwell; son,
Timmy Miracle, Arthur; daughters, Beverly Glasco, Arthur, Janet (John) Collins,
Harrogate, Sharon (Steve) Hunley, Speedwell; brothers, J.D. (Cleda) Harp,
Speedwell, Junior (Hope) Harp, Harrogate, Wilburn (Billie Mae) Harp, Speedwell,
David (Betty) Harp, LaFollette; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host
of family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October
13th, 2004 at the Chenoa Missionary Baptist Church with Revs. Raymond Albright,
Johnny Brown and Terry Brock officiating. Burial in the Chenoa Cemetery in
Frakes, Kentucky. Pallbearers-Jimmy Dale Harp, Leroy Harp, Johnny Carmack, David
Miracle, James Harp, John Collins III, and Ray Zachrich. Family will receive
friends at the home of Hope and Junior Harps on Beech Street in Harrogate for
