Boyle County Lookups The following individuals have generously volunteered to do lookups from these Boyle County resources. Please remember that these resources are copyrighted works in most instances, and the volunteers are required to adhere to "fair use" standards. This means that the lookup can be for one name, or perhaps two, if it is a married couple. The information provided will be minimal, for example, if it is a cemetery lookup, the information will be the name of the cemetery and the dates on the headstone. Please do not ask for "everybody with X surname" or an entire family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests. The lookups may extend to searching the book to determine if the book would be helpful to you in your research. Should the book prove useful, they can provide the author's name and usually the address. I have listed some of the Boyle County books that are available, although certainly not all. When requesting a lookup, please put Boyle County Lookup as the subject of the message, and be sure to indicate which book you want the lookup from. Again, each lookup request should be for 1 or possibly 2 names only.
In addition, Mr. Jim Miller has a personal collection of obits from the late 1800s to 1940. He does lookups as his spare time allows (don't nag!)if queries are submitted in writing in this way: Request 2 individuals max (not just family names). Mail the request to: Jim Miller
Peggy Selby Galloway resides in Danville and will do Boyle County research. Contact her with your specific requests by email at peggyann@mail.searnet.com or at
If you would like to volunteer to do lookups, or if you know of additional Boyle County resources that are not listed here, I will be glad to add them to the list. Just drop me a note, including the name of the resource, and I'll get them added.
