My wife's great great grandfather was STEPHEN TAYLOR born in Loudoun, VA, in 1755 and moved, first to FAYETTE Co., KY, Then BRACKEN Co., KY,died 1844. Family records show he was married to SARAH POWER but book, From Log Cabin to White House, says it was MARY POWERS. This book also shows Stephen's father and grandfather were both GEORGE and George II also died in KY. Stephen and Sarah/Mary had seven children: WALTER POWER TAYLOR (my wife's gg grandfather, GEORGE, JOSEPH P., MARTIN, FRANCES, ELIZABETH, and ELLA. We have much of Walter Power's descendants. My wife's cousins are still on Walter Power Taylor's land. Many Taylor Gravestones in Bracken County. Any connections there?

DILLMAN surname in Bracken Co. I'm looking for decendents of Georg Michael DILLMAN and his brother Andreas (Andrew) DILLMAN, who moved to Bracken Co. about 1795. One of Georg Michael's children was Andrew who moved from Bracken Co to Switzerland Co. IN in 1828 where he died in 1831. From his will we have the following children but no birth dates: Christianna (married a Charles Gullion, Catharine who married a Rayl, Elizabeth, George, Samuel, Daniel, David, Matthew, Andrew Jr, John, and Lavinia who died about 1831-1832. COOPER-- Elizabeth Cooper married Isaac N. Snow in Bracken County, KY on August 30, 1853. She was born ca. 1835 in Mason or Bracken Co. On the marriage bond Samuel D. Maxfield signed with Isaac. There are many Coopers in the area but I do not know her father. Could anyone help with information on the Coopers? Elizabeth and Isaac lived for a short time in Clermont County, Ohio and ended up in Pendleton County, KY.

I am looking for information on an Asbury and Elizabeth (Jones) JONES. They were from Bracken county, Kentucky and their children were Rebecca Ann (Jones) Johnson, Fannie (Jones) White, Taylor B. Jones and Creasie (Jones) Lanter. They moved to Bourbon county, Kentucky. They lived mainly around Leesburg, Centerville, and Paris. I believe Creasie, and Fannie are buried in the Jacksonville Cemetery in Centerville, KY . Creasie married Carl Lanter. Rebecca was born in 1883 and married Derice Johnson in Fayette county, Kentucky on July 28, 1906. Both Derice and Rebecca are buried in Jacksonville Cemetery in Centerville, KY. Derice died in 1962 and Rebecca died on June 20, 1959. They lived in Spencer county, KY, Taylorsville. Derice's parents are George and Caroline (Hatfield) Johnson from Bourbon and Bracken county, KY. Looking for Hilda's ancestors STEPHEN TAYLOR and wife SARAH POWER. Both born in Virgina (Stephen in 1855) and died BRACKEN Co, KY. Stephen died 1844. There is a book "From Log Cabins to the White House" that gives Stephen's wife's name as MARY POWERS but we have several references that show SARAH POWER. He came by wagon train with his family and it is said that his brothers came too. I know that there was family still in Pa. He was up and down the Ohio River. I have in him serveral counties.
