Goley and
Mary lived here for years. I remember many times as a child,
arriving late at night. Before the bridge was put in, someone from the family would come across in a canoe, and take us across, usually one or two, to the other side. I remember, too, they would either have to use oil lanterns or flashlights to light the way. |
