John married Elizabeth Spicer, daughter of Roger, Sr. Spicer and Julia Ann Jett, about 1860. Elizabeth was born about 1844 in Breathiitt Co, KY and died at Home; Crockettsville, Breathitt Co, KY.

   29 M    i. Samuel Callahan was born on 18 Jun 1861 and died on 1 Jul 1914 at age 53.

Samuel married Martha Evans. Martha was born in 1860 and died in 1935 at age 75.

   30 M    ii. Sheriff Edward Callahan was born on 2 May 1863 in Crockettsville, Breathitt Co, KY, died on 11 May 1912 in Callahan Store, Crockettsville, Breathitt Co, KY at age 49, and was buried on 12 May 1912 in Crook Turner Cemetery, Crockettsville, Breathitt Co, KY.

Sheriff married Tymanda Deaton, daughter of Wilson 'Egg Eye' Deaton and Nancy Ann Akemon, on 19 Jun 1908 in Breathitt Co, KY. Tymanda was born on 28 Mar 1891 in Breathitt Co, KY, died on 5 May 1959 in Wolfe Co, KY at age 68, and was buried in May 1959 in Evans Cemetery, Wolfe Co, KY.

Sheriff next married Tymanda Spicer, daughter of Granville 'Dump' Spicer and Pochahontas Jett. Tymanda was born about 1871.
