John Carter Robinson, his father was John Robinson, mother
Margaret Abraham Smith who is buried in Carroll County. He was the half
brother to my great grand father Jesse Smith. These pictures were given to
me by my cousin JoAnn Briely, who obtained them from the grand daughter of
Jesse Smith, Nettsie Smith Devore. John C Robinson born 1870, died during a
break up of ice on the Kentucky River the winter of 1917-8. He lived on a
