Clisby B. Smith

Injured in the battle of  Vicksburg, MS in Dec, 1862. Sent to the hospital in Paducah, KY. Released from the hospital in March, 1863, and returned home to Greenup County, KY, where he died on 15 June, 1863. Clisby was the son of Jesse L Smith and Juriah Abrams and was the father of Jesse Smith. Clisby is buried in the Billy Bryson Cemetery in Greenup Co., KY.

Margaret Abraham Smith,  wife of Clisby  is buried in the old Allen Wilson Cemetery on Mill Creek, near the area of the old Section houses. Also Susan Rose Abraham, mother of Margaret Abraham Smith although, no stones mark their graves. And the old Cemetery is also the site of John Wilson and his wife's graves.
