Generation No. 1

1.       JAMES² SHOOTS  (JOHN¹) was born 1790 in Virginia, and died 1851 in Henry County, KY].  He married ELIZABETH HUNDLEY September 10, 1808 in Fayette County, Kentucky, daughter of NELSON HUNDLEY and UNKNOWN.  Sidney Hundley was a half brother to Elizabeth Shoots.

2.       Notes for JAMES SHOOTS:

From location of the land of James Shoots I suspect they are buried in or near  the McCraken Cemetery.  This is the burial place of Evin Owens father in-law of Nancy Owens who md Sidney Hundley.  Capt. John Berry is also buried near Evin Owens, also mentioned in the deeds.

No record of burial is found for James Shoots in Henry County, KY.  Found on 1850 census with wife Elizabeth and son Benjamin.
