Mrs. Jack Sturgeon Dies at Crittenden

Mrs. Jack Sturgeon, born March 4, 1883 at English died May 28 at her home
in Crittenden following a paralytic stroke.
Mrs. Sturgeon's maiden name was Susie Anna Smith, and she was a daughter
of Robert D Smith and Mary George Smith. Survivors are her husband; two
sons, Alvin Palmer Carrollton and Chester A Wigglesworth, Sherman, KY and
six grand children.
Funeral Services were held May 31 at at 2:00p.m. at a Verona funeral home
by Rev. A. K. Johnson, burial in Lebanon Cemetery, Grant County.

*Note: The death certificate of Susie says she died in 1947 and that Jack Sturgeon is 75 years old. She is his second wife. He is her fourth husband. In 1930 she is on census with William Foree and her father Robert is living with them.  Wife of Robert died in 1927. Robert and William are both about the same age.
