Julia Perry Willhoite
Julia Calista Willhoite, 87, of Carrollton, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 14,
2006, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born June 17, 1919, in Owen County, Ky., the daughter of
Stephen and
Verna Catherine Cripson Perry. She was a member of Abundant Life Church
in
Carrollton, Ky., and was a homemaker.
She is survived by six daughters, Glenna Hockensmith of Bagdad, Ky.,
Anna
Mae Beckett of Rising Sun, Judy Hall of Mounds, Okla., Connie Breeden
of
Madison, Hope Briggs of Lawrence, Kan., and Faith Jones of Sandsprings,
Okla.; four
sons, Jacky Willhoite of Belgrade, Maine, Virgil Willhoite of Glennpool,
Okla., and Gary Willhoite and Mark Willhoite, both of Worthville, Ky.;
25
grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and six
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John B.
Willhoite,
whom she married Jan. 1, 1938, and who died Oct. 23, 1989; one
daughter; three
sisters; and one brother.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in
Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in Squiresville Cemetery in Owenton, Ky.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
