Miss Stella Thomas, who was about twenty-one years of age, died near
Dunnville one day last week. She had a fever blister on her lip which
she picked. Blood poison set up resulting in her death.

Death of Good Woman
Mrs. Julia A. Rector, who was about
seventy-three years old, a sister of Mr. Elzy Damron, of this place,
died Wednesday, of last week near Dunnville. Her death was due to
diseases incident to old age.
The funeral services were conducted by Eld. Z.T. Williams [of Columbia],
a large circle of relatives and friends being present. The deceased was
a zealous Christian woman, and her her death spread a gloom over the
entire community. Her husband preceded her to the grave ten years ago.
