Dec. 20, 1927-June 30, 2002
Marvin S. 'Fuzz' Coffman, 74,
Jamestown, died 11:15 p.m. Sunday in his residence.
Mr. Coffman had been employed by
Berns Construction Company, Indianapolis, for 30 years
as a truck driver and heavy equipment loader, retiring
in 1987. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy,
Jamestown. He attended Kentucky schools.
He was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Casey
County, Ky., to William F. and Ida Belle Hughes Coffman.
He married Freida Wethington, Aug. 12, 1950, at Creston,
Ky. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons,
Marvin Van, Danny Cecil, and Randall Franklin, all of
Jamestown, and Timothy Allan, Thorntown; three brothers,
D.J., Curtis and Albert, all of Liberty, Ky.; a sister,
Catharine Compton, Liberty; 11 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are
deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled 10
a.m. Wednesday in Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, with
Pastor Roger Popplewell officiating. Burial will be in
Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
