Funeral Held For Case Thomas
Case Thomas, 57 years old, son of Theodore J. and Nannie J.
Watson Thomas, of Dunnville, died at his home in Peoria,
Illinois, June 7, 1948. He married Mary W. Dick in Liberty, Ky.,
November 24, 1909. To that union were born two children, a son
Vertree, who preceded him in death, and a daughter, Gertrude, at
home. He had been ill for a year.
He was a member of the Dunnville Christian church and lived a
devoted Christian life, and was held in high esteem by his host
of friends.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, two brothers, Alfonzo
Thomas, Virden, Ill., and Ray Thomas, of Dunnville, and also by
one sister, Mrs. James Leigh, of Dunnville, and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Dunnville June 11 at 10:00 a.m.,
conducted by Revs. H.J. Conover and L.C. Young, with burial in
Thomastown cemetery.
Pruitt funeral home of this city [Jamestown, Ky.] had charge of
all arrangements.
