| John Wesley Thompson was born in Fayette Co. Ky in 1841, son of Thomas and Sarah Kent Thompson. He served in the Civil War in the KY First Cavalry. He married (1) Nancy Ellen Austin in Lincoln Co. KY, daughter of Isaac and Nancy Fletcher Austin. They had 12 children. Nancy was born 1843 and died in 1883. John Wesley "Wes" Thompson then married Amanda Frances Price in 1885. Amanda was born about 1855-6, and died in 1937. Many of their descendants live in Casey Co. | |
