The unmarked grave beside his is most likely his wife, Rebecca Patterson Russell ( b. abt 1804, d. aft 1880 – can find no records of her birth or death)

The small stone, in the foreground of the picture, is not inscribed, and looks like it marks a child or infant’s grave.
