Rosnears   well Fin and me had worked most  all day I picked nuff berrys to fill 3 quarts and made a pint of jam  We  picked beans this eve so by by (had our first mess of rosnears  today)

 Well it was this m  Fin bought me a new  Bible from an agent  I helped Fin fence  so I am tired as a dog   so  by by  ( Had rosenears for dinner)

Thursday 19,  July, 1934 :

 Well talk about your days work but Fin and  me sure have put in good time  first things we did was to do a big warshing  so we got done about 10 oclock so then so then we jumped in and made 33 quarts  of Krout so after dinner we picked beans to can and dry and to cap it all off  Fin howed out our late cabbage  Lage was over a few minutes so  by

 Hershel Leigh went and stade all day played with  Ange Grace and Eadward seno (?) baby and in the evening we had I cream and we  milked and went home to  Aunt Arties and changed by clothes  William  Hershel Leigh  age 11  born 1922  Liberty Ky.
