deeds, mortgages, and assignments and mortgage releases.

County Clerk of the Circuit Court has

The Circuit Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining the records of the

- Built in 1888, the original building
cost $15,000 and was designed by McDonald Brothers of Louisville and
built on land donated by Col. Jesse Coffey. A two story addition was
built in 1960. It is listed on the National Register of Historic
Buildings.

Bicentennial Heritage Corporation
- SEARCHING FOR CASEY COUNTY ANCESTORS?
The Bicentennial Heritage Corporation of
Casey County KY, organized in 1975, was a non -profit organization
dedicated to the discovery and preservation of the heritage of the area.
- MEETINGS
There are no meetings. The group has
disbanded due to lack of participation.
- NEWSLETTER
Casey County Kinfolks, a quarterly
newsletter, is no longer published. Back issues; July 1979 (Three copies)
through 1994, are available for $6.00 per year plus $2.00 postage.
