THE LYNN TREE	

Bennett Lynn, Reedy Lynn, and Neddie Lynn were brothers, and
settled in the Brush Creek community about 1850.  Bennett Lynn 
married Betty Lowe, and to this union were born Hays B. who married 
Lucy Hill; John who married R. A. Coulter; Jesse who married Maretha
Edwards' Bill; Bailey;  Prudie who married Preston Cochran; Ann
married Jacob Coffman; Jane married Ellis Reed; Houston married
Sarah Lowe.  To Houston and Sarah were born (John married a Lane;
Kitty married Alec Lynn;  Molly married a Reed;  Minnie married Ben-
nett Cochran; Silas married Sally Cochran; Ida married V. Peyton).
  To Bailey were born Bob, Wallace, John, Pad, M.E. Alice, Jewell,
and Polly.  Polly married John Cochran; Alice married James Melbourn;
Pad married Decie Cochran.
  To Jesse and Martha Edwards were born Harlan; Ada who married
John Rhodes, a millionaire; Lola, Artie, Joyce, Ona, Laura, Oatley.
  To John and R. A. Coulter were born Ease, Belle, and Ellen.
  To Hays B. and Luch Hill were born Lucian D. who married Lily
Lynn; Sophie married John Ross; Mily married William Ross; Cora
married John Edwards; Emma married C.M. Taylor; Ella married
Charles Taylor; Mandy married Scott Lynn; Nora married Virgil Ran-
dolph.
  To Lucian and Lily were born V.L. who married Lonas Clarkston;
George married a Followell; Roxy married S. Hill; Bertha, Herman.
P. who married Grace Peyton (children:: Geroge, Jess, and Sylvia);
Hardin married Mary Long.
  To Nettie who married a King were born William who first married
a Stanley, and later a Mills; Dock; Ephram; Frank; Betty who married
William King; Jim who married Annie Lynn (children; Bill who mar-
ried a Smith; Alex who married Kitty Lynn, and Betty married George
Woodrum).  To Bill was born Alex who married Stella Turpin (children:
Thomas, Elmer, Edgar, George, Ellen).  Perry married a Coffman;
Jimmy married a Bratton; and Buck.
  To William who married a Stanley and later B.A. Mills were born 
George W. who married Mary Cummings; John A. who married R. E.
Decker; Martha married James Young; Mary married Logan Cochran;
Betty married Perry Kizee; William T. married S. Vanoy, and later
Maude Alle; James L. married first Ollie Randolph, and later Mary
Branson Allen; James L. married E. Turpin; W. Scott married first Maude
Ross, and later a Wilkinson; Logan married Mary Atwood; Ephram
married Novella Waare.
  Children of Logan and Curtis and Aline.  The children of W. Scott
are Estil; Jesse who married Bessie Witt; Lela married Edward Grubbs;
and Irene who married Howard Short.  The children of John C. are
Hollie and Frances.  The children James L. are Ray, Roscoe, Floyd,
Jodie, Mable, Bernice, Ellen and Bessie who married J. Goode.  The 
children of William T. are Walter who married Ella Clements; Mandy 
who married Otis True; and Della who married Jason Statom.  The
children of John A. are Ernest E. who married Maude King; Willie
P. who married Grethel Moore (children: Keith, Evan, and Nancy).
Pearly married Charles Cochran; Ruby married Sherman Jefferies; and 
Ira.  The children of Ernest are Eugene who married Emma Cochran;
Wavie who married Ed Witt; Blanche.  The children of George W. are 
Lilly who married L. D. Lynn; Bertha married John Connor; Lewis
married Sally Adams (children: Herlin, Sylvia and Susie); David
married Sally Adams (children: Sadie married Virgil Reed; Frances
married Roscoe Atwood).
