	Some one hundred and fifty years ago in Tennessee or in Whitley County, Kentucky, 
Jeff Frederick married Betsey Ellison, a half Cherokee Indian girl. To this union was born 
Celia who married David Brown; John who married Betty Whittimore; and Steve who married for 
his second wife Easter Estes.
	The children of John and Betty Whittimore were Delilah who married a Cox; Ancil who 
married Martha Shelton; John who married Bennie Ellison; and Jeff who married Kizar Ellison; 
Susie married first, Jim Estes, and second, John Sword; Mealy married Hugh Cain (children: 
Sally who married Biven Meade, and Jane who married Perry Bryant). Price married a Faughbush;
Betty married Bob Knight.
	The children of Steve by his first wife were Bill and Nancy, and by his second, who 
was Easter Estes, he had the following children: Marion, Willis, Dave, Belle, Bob, Celia, 
Eliza, Lucy, Betty, and Kate.
	Of these children, Marion married a Lucas and had the following children: Maude, 
Quintilla, Clo, Mary, Vada, Edgar, Steve, Bowman, Will T., and Daniel.
	Willis married a Durham and had the following children: Jesse, Claude, and Gertrude.
	Dave and Belle were never married; Bob married Nancy Snow; Celia married a Huffacer; 
Eliza married John Patterson; Lucy married a Wall; Betty married a Lanham; Kate married 
George Carman; Nan, the half sister, married a Morgan, and Bill the half brother, married 
Betsey Lucas and had the following children: Hezekiah, Billie, Judy, Ann Catharine, Mary 
Lee, Sally, and Frank.
	Of these children, Hezekiah married Josephine Luttrell and had the following 
children: Lula who married Jim Short; Ella who married Leslie Frederick; Sarah who married 
Willard Bell; Cephas who married Julia Jones; Jeter who married Beulah Estes; and Alex who 
married Viola Austin.
	Billie did not marry; Judy married Marvin Bell; Ann Catharine married a Lanham; Mary
Lee married Slicky Billie Durham; Sally married Charley Spears; and Frank married a Bell and
had the following children: Claude, Leslie, Mamie, Frank, and Maggie.
	To Ancil and Martha Shelton were born the following children: Johnnie, Melvel, Henry,
Sarah, Maggie, Mary, Fannie, and Lela.
	Sarah was married three times, the husbands being; Peter Patterson, A. O. Watkins, 
and A. E. McKinley; Maggie married Jim Bolin; Fannie married Ed Bradley; Lela married Forch 
Leach; and Mary never married.
	Johnnie married Mary Sims (children: Cleo, Sarah, Norah, Lela, Florence, George, and 
Ola).
	Melvel married Ellen Bolin (children: Eva, Herbert, Della, Myrtle, Bessie, Charley, 
Albert, Carl, Ruth, and Jewell).
	Henry married a Thompson.
	John Frederick, brother to Ancil, married Bennie Allison and had the following 
children: Julia, Mary, Bart, Matt, Will, Turner, and Sophia.
	To Susie and Jim Estes was born John, and to her and John Sword were born Wolford, 
Pat, Ida, and Georgianna.
