THE WILKINSON AND HANKLA TREE

W. Owen Wilkinson came from Virginia along with a cousin who was an
ancestor of Royal.  Owen was married to Kathleen Franklin and to this union
were born Edmond & Nancy Lee Ford and later Elizabeth Beard; Madison (Matt)
& Harriett Farris.  To Ed and Nancy Lee Ford were born Owen, Nick, Bunk,
Pauline, Rome, Clem, Kate, Willie, Nelle, and Minnie.  To his last wife
were born Paul, Bob, Lora, Matt, Eddie, and Lillie.  Clem married Florence
Whipp (children: Hershell, Gertrude, Beatrice, Lula, and Albert).  Willie
married Mary Whipp (children: Alice and Nannie).  Rome married Jane Sanders
(children: Arthur, Elizabeth, Marie, Lela, Cecil, and Ada).  Kate married
Dink Wilkinson; Belle & Lawrence Brown; Minnie & Wess Sanders.

The other line of the Wilkinson family begins with Nathan and Brooker, half
brothers to Royal, and Royal Wilkinson & Jane Bowman.  To this union were
born Tom & Nannie Workman; George R. (Hawk) & Laura Givens; Bill & Ann
Wright; Winston (Dink) & Kate Wilkinson; Polly & William Hankla; George &
Lizzie Bowman; John E. went to Texas.  To Tom and Nannie Workman were born
Sam, Alma, Ruth, George, and Wince.  To Hawk & Laura Givens were born Mae
and Lucille.  To Bill & Anna Wright were born Lige, Daisy, Lena, Bet,
Laura, Royal, Kate, and Henry.  To Polly who married William Hankla were
born Harvy, Anna, Jim, Royal, Ernest, Willie, and Rupert.  Joe, a brother
to Royal, married Mary Catherine Bransom.  To this union were born Jodie
who married Ada True (children: Rita, Ethel, Floyd, Billie, Lowell, and
Ancil).

Fannie, sister to Jodie & Jim Chelf.  Her sister Laura married E. E. Allen.
Shell, son of Joe and Mary C. Bransom, married Myrtle Allen.  To this union
were born Claude and Tom.  To his second wife was born Ralph who married
Fay Price; John Brooker married Clare Chelf, to this union were born Ruby,
Opie, Mary, Bernal, Francis, Jim, and Nannie who married Scott Lynn.
John, who was distantly related to Owen and Royal, married Elvira Bowman
(children: Ernest & first a Kennett and later Ellen Morgan; Wince & Edna
Murphy, son: Stanley; Oscar who married Panie Whitney; Sally & Clay Godby).
Clay was a son to Oscar.  Luvina & S. E. Jeffries was daughter to Ernest,
as was Deva and brother Earl.
