William Adams born April 10th 1787 in Virginia and died August 27th 1860, Winchester, Clark Co., Kentucky.
William's parents are Stephen Adams 1756 and Elizabeth Lancaster 1766, of Orange, Virginia. Elizabeth's parents are Robert Lancaster Sr. born in 1720 in Va. He died in 1785 in St. Thomas Parish, Orange, Va. and Mary Mallory born 1725 in Va. and also died in Orange Co. Va. Some of their children settled in Pendleton Co. KY and Mason Co. KY.

Nancy Jane was born 1 November 1796 and married John Ramey.

Mary Adams born August 10th 1815 in Clark County, Kentucky, married William Scott Hogan December 26th 1839 In Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky. Her Death is recorded as March 15th 1886 Clark County, Kentucky. Mary Adams is our line. Both are Buried in Winchester Cemetery.
Lucinda Adams was born March 23rd 1817 in Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky and married Howard E. Watts on December 4th 1844 and died January 6th, Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky. The year is not known.
Howard Watts is the son of Johnson and Elizabeth ( McLain) Watts of Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky.
Howard Watts is listed as a private in Co “C” of the 11th. Kentucky Cavalry with General Chenault.

Elizabeth Adams was born December 6th 1813 in Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky and married William Scott Carter on February 14th 1832, Clark County, Kentucky and married Samuel Bradley who died January 13, 1892, KY.
Stephen Bledsoe Adams born on 10th March 1817 in Winchester, Kentucky. He married Mary Stevenson
His recorded death is 6th December1889 in Jackson, Missouri.
Nancy Adams was born December 6th 1819, Clark County, KY. She married Thomas Nathaniel Ragland 4th July 1845. Thomas served under Anderson Chenault Quisenberry as a private in Co A 11th. Kentucky cavalry.
He was luckier than most, he came home.
