1. THOMAS5 DUNBAR (WILLIAM4, WILLIAM3, JOHN2, WILLIAM1) was born November 1760 in Loudown County, VA, and died September 01, 1855 in Madison County, KY. He married MARY "MOLLY" WEEDON 1782, daughter of John Weedon and Molly Pritchard.
Notes
One report says Thomas married in 1786 in Loudoun County, VA so further research is needed. Thomas belonged to the Cane Springs Church. Thomas was in the Rev. War and he applied for a pension in Madison County, KY on Oct. 1, 1832. According to the pension papers, he moved to Madison County, KY in 1802. His sister, Elizabeth Webb, lived in Madison County, KY in 1832 when he applied for a pension. One researcher says he is buried on Boonesborough Pike, Winchester, KY.

Notes
Weedon Dunbar came to Boone County, MO before 1835 and settled on a farm about ten miles south of Centralia near Hallsville. One report says he married May 5, 1811 in Clark County, KY.

In 1858, Peter and his family moved to Boone County, MO from Bourbon County, KY just before the Civil War. They migrated to Oklahoma during the land rush. Peter's son, Emory, is the only one that stayed in Missouri.
