Thompson Duvall and Polly Laforce-Leforce Certifcate

"Sir,
This is to inform you that you have my approbation for
issuing license to Mr. Thompson Duvall in order to wedd Miss
Polly Laforce.
Walter Preston, Guardian of Polly Laforce
July 9, 1808
Capt. David Bullock
Rany Laforce qualifed to the aforegoing certificate to be the handwriting of Walter Preston.
Know all men by these presents that we Thompson Duvall and Rany Leforce are held and firmly bound unto -------? --------? Governor of Kentucky in the full sum of fifty pounds to which payment well and truly to be made to the said Governor and his successors
we bind our heirs, exeutors, and administrators jointly and severly firmly by these presents sealed and dated this 9th day of July 1808.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound Thompson Duvall and Polly Leforce ---? therefor there be no lawfull cause to obstruct the same then this obligation to be void else to remain in force ---?

Marriage Bond of W. A. Anderson and Sarah A. Duvall

Clark Co. Marriage Certificate, 1828
"Know all men by these presents that
we William Anderson and A. W. Mills
are held and firmly bound unto the
commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and
full sum of 50 pounds to which payment
well and truly to be made to the said
commonwealth. We and each of us bind
ourselves our heirs ---- jointly and
severally firmly by these presents sealed and
dated this 25th day of October 1828. The
condition on the above obligation is such that
whereas there is a marriage shortly intended
to be ---- and solemnized between the above
bound W. A. Anderson and Sarah A. Duvall if
therefore there be no lawful cause to obstruct
the same, then the above obligation to be void
else to remain in full ----- and virtue.
