STATE OF Kentucky, }
COUNTY OF Clinton } S.S.

Personally appeared before me the undersigned authority, Sarah Mogg, and upon her oath states that she has heretofore made an affidavit in the claim of Sarah Brown for Widows Pension. I have since learned in that affidavit I stated that her daughter, Matilda was born on the 10th day of September, but on reflection I am satisfied that said child, Matilda, was born on or about the 15th day of September, and as to the year in which said Matilda was born I know it was in 1857 and it was otherwise stated in my previous affidavit it was a mistake of her attorney who wrote the affidavit as I know the birth of said Matilda Brown to be as stated from the fact I was present at her birth.

Att: J.W. Mogg Her Mark (X) Sarah Mogg

Sworn to and subscribed before me by Sarah Mogg. And I certify that the contents were read over and explained before swearing. And I have no interest in this matter.
