His note that accompanied the submission stated "It was never my intention to chart the history of all of the Perdues of Clinton County. Where a person in a generation is in our direct bloodline, that person will be in bold print. There is an index of all of the Perdue names that we can find from Albany. We have included what information we have on individuals in that section. All dates are approximate and are given on a best of information available basis. Don't bet the ranch on these dates, they are at best estimates."
