William C. Stailey (1833-1921), buried in Locust Grove Cemetery in Clinton County and his wife, Lucinda Jones (1836-1916).

William was the son of Adam Stailey and Margaret Cargile. Lucinda is the daughter of Abraham Jones and Sarah Taylor.

James Austin Stailey, also a son of William C. and Lucinda Stailey followed the Anderson Wells family to Sidney, Comanche County, TX to marry his daughter, Julia Wells.
