James Hurley Junior

He  was buried at Mudlick Cemetery, Paw Paw, Pike Co., Ky.  They may have shipped his body to Kelsa, Va. The certificate is incorrect in that his father's name was NEHEMIAH HURLEY, not James Hurley, Sr.  He sometimes was called James, or Jim Hurley, Jr., to distinguish him from his uncle Jim Hurley.  He was born 08 Jul 1886 in the same place where he was buried.  His mother's maiden name was Lena Coleman.  She was living at the time of his death.  Here's what he looked like just before he was admitted to hospital.

JAMES ALSTON HURLEY was born 08 Jul 1886 in Pike Co. Kentucky, and died 27 Jun 1931 in Lexington Hospital, Lexington, Fayette Co. Kentucky.  He married (1) FLOSSIE CHANEY 22 Jun 1910 in Pike Co. Kentucky, daughter of JAMES CHANEY and LEVISEY ELSWICK.  She was born 21 Nov 1894 in Conaway, Buchanan County, Virginia, and died 27 Jul 1971 in Manassas, Prince William Co., Virginia.  He met (2) MAUD COLEMAN Abt. 1917, daughter of JAMES COLEMAN and CALDONA MAY.
