The teacher is Elijah Green Walker, grandfather of  Ardith Cooper and the great grandfather of Jeff Walker. Elijah Green Walker, Rev. was born on 20 Nov 1869 in Green County, Kentucky. He died on 8 Oct 1940 in Summerville. He was married to Laura Carnel Elmore on 7 Feb 1888. The young boy on the far right in front of the other boys is Oliver Wendell Walker, uncle of Ardith. The young boy 6th from left in the front role is believed to be Ardith's  father Homer Otis Walker.
