Nancy W. Roberts Law, 83, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, March 19, 2011,
at University Hospital in Louisville.
She is survived by two grandsons: Shawn Law and Troy Law of Bethlehem.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24th, at
Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Jacky Newton, Pastor of
Franklinton Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Smithfield
Cemetery.

Stella Louden Lee
Stella Pearl Louden Lee, 72, of Sulphur, died Saturday, February 26,
2011, at Homestead Nursing Center. Pearl worked at C. A. Garner Veneer
Plant and was the daughter of the late Whitaker and Lottie Gividen
Louden.
She is survived by her companion: William �Bill� Howard Moore,
Pendleton; threes sons: James Whitaker Lee and wife Dana, Bethlehem,
Rodney Carroll Lee and wife Adrian, Franklinton and John Gayle Lee,
Pendleton; four sisters: Alice Raisor, New Castle, Angie Brierly,
Milton, Linda Robinson and Nancy Gravile, both of Pendleton; five
brothers: Whitaker Louden, Jr., Pendleton, Charlie Louden, Sulphur,
Clyde Louden and Jimmy Louden, both of Carrollton and George Louden,
Bedford; seven grand children and four great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Gayle Lee and daughter: Deanna
Kay Lee.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1st, at Prewitt
New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Nick Coleman, Sulphur, officiated.
Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Lois Louise Lewellen, 86, of LaGrange, died Sunday, March 6, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters: Janice Randall, Bonnie Honn, Glenda
Worley and Deborah Drury; and sons: James and Rick Lewellen.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 9th at Heady-Radcliffe
Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment was in the Valley of rest
Cemetery, LaGrange.

Gary Lewis
Gary Lewis, 58, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, February 26, 2011, at his
home. He was a member of the Shelby Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cynda Jaehnigen Lewis,
Shelbyville; daughters: Rebecca Lewis, Shelbyville, and Rachael Smith,
Murfreesboro, TN; mother: Janis Lewis; Simpsonville; step-daughter:
Sherri Cole, Campbellsburg; brothers: Greg Lewis, Avon Lake, OH, Brian
Lewis, Campbellsburg; grandchildren: Anaiyah, Amari, and Aliyah Smith,
Seth and Haley Hahn, and two nieces and nephews
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2nd, at
Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Rev. Dave Hamlin officiated.
Interment was in the Grove Hill Cemetery.

Josefa �Pepita� Louden
Josefa � Pepita� Louden, 75, of Pendleton, died Friday, February 24,
2011, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was born in 1935 in
Barcelona, Spain. After meeting and marrying Whitaker �Junebug� Louden,
Jr. on December 9, 1961, she moved to the United States. After living
with �Junebug� in several different states during his career in the
Marines, they both resided in Pendleton. Pepita was a wife and
homemaker.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. , Monday, February 28th, at
Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Nick Coleman of Sulphur
officiated. Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Clara Elizabeth Lowe
Clara Elizabeth Lowe, 89, of Campbellsburg, died Monday, April 7, 2003
at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange. She was a retired employee of
G.E. for 25 years, a member of the Campbellsburg United Methodist Church
and the daughter of the late John and Luda Stucker Clark.
She is survived by her daughter: Betsy Garriott Peters and her husband,
Joe, Turners Station; two grandsons: Larry Garriott and Lance Garriott,
both of Turners Station; four great grandchildren: Laura, Nathan, Dallas
and Lucas Garriott, all of Turners Station and several nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Lowe; four
sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Prewitt
New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Rucker, Pastor of the Port Royal
Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. David Terry, Pastor of the
Campbellsburg United Methodist Church. Interment was in the New Castle
Cemetery.

Arnett LaMaster, Jr.
Arnett R. �Buddy� LaMaster, Jr., 91, of New Castle,, died Tuesday, July
19, 2011, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in LaGrange. Born September 3,
1919, to the late Arnett and Ollie Burton LaMaster, he was a life-long
advocate for Kentucky agriculture and livestock. He was a WWII Veteran,
serving as First Sergeant and Tank Commander with the Fourth Armored
Division, Company D, 10th Tank Battalion of Patton�s Army during the
Battle of the Bulge. He was aw3arded three battle stars for combat in
action, an American Defense Medal and the FAME Theater Ribbon. He was a
member of the New Castle Lions Club for over 58 years and was also a
life-long member and deacon of the New Castle Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne Ellis LaMaster, New Castle;
two daughters: Mary (John) Roberts, New Castle and Anne (Paul) Tipton,
Louisville; five grandchildren: Lee Anne (Scott) Bohannon, David
(Martha) Tipton, Jamie Roberts, Brian (Kate) Roberts and Ben Roberts;
three great-grandchildren: Anne Ellis Bohannon, Woodley Bohannon and
Lola Roberts. He was preceded in death by one sister: Jean Bell.
Funeral services were held T 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23rd, at Prewitt
New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Nick Coleman, Dr. Corky Klingenfus and
Rev. Anthony Pierce officiated. Interment was in the New Castle
Cemetery.

Willard Littrell, 69, of Guthrie, died Tuesday, February 13, 1995 at the
Clarksville Memorial Hospital, Clarksville, TN.
He is survived by his wife: Wilma Littrell, Guthrie; his mother: Corrie
Littrell; two sons: James Littrell, Arba, AL and Randy Littrell, Port
Royal; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday February 15th at the
Laurel Funeral Home, London. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m.,
Thursday, February 16th at the Eminence Cemetery.

Kindred Hospital. He was the son of the late Joe T. Louden and Anna Lou
Lynch Louden.

Jeanie Carol Ferree, Tampa, FL, Charles A. Edward Louden, Grand
Junction, CO, Connie Lou Shields, Louisville, Diane Louden, Tampa, FL
and Sandra Kay Liuzzi, Louisville.

Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford. Pastor James Strocen officiated.

Eloise Bush Lyons
Eloise Bush Lyons, 90, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at
Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born in Eminence on May 8, 1921.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Berea Christian Church where she
was an elder. She was the oldest member of the Bethlehem Community. She
was the daughter of the late Charles Reese Bush and Ida Caroline Roberts
Bush.
She is survived by three sons: Alan Lyons (Judy), Richmond, VA, Larry
Lyons (Debbie), Bethlehem and Tommy Lyons (Vickie), Louisville; two
daughters: Judy Baylor (Steve), Milan, IN and Linda Karem (Bruce),
Louisville; one sister: Jane Johnson, Frankfort; sister-in-law: Mayetta
Bush, Louisville; tem grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Marshall Lyons and two brothers, Gayle and Kenneth Bush.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 1st, at Sholar
Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Dr. David K. Hinson officiated. Interment
was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Marshall Lyons
Marshall Lyons, 92, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at
Crestview Care and Rehabilitation Center in Shelbyville. He was born in
Bethlehem on July 24, 1918. He was a farmer and a member of the Berea
Christian Church, where he was the oldest member, an elder and a
trustee. He was the oldest member of the Bethlehem Community. He was the
son of the late Ruby Lyons, Sr. and Emma Hawkins Lyons.
He is survived by his wife: Eloise Rush Lyons, Bethlehem; three sons:
Alan Lyons (Judy), Richmond, VA, Larry Lyons (Debbie), Bethlehem, and
Tommy Lyons (Vickie), Louisville; two daughters: Judy Baylor (Steve),
Milan, IN and Linda Karem (Bruce), Louisville; two brothers: Roy Lyons,
Shelbyville and Melvin Lyons, Bethlehem; one sister: Mary Heaton,
Madison, IN; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 19th, at Sholar
Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Dr. David K. Hinson officiated. Interment
was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
