Hellen Adams

         

            Hellen Jones Troxell Adams, 95, of Lexington, (Native of Drennon) passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.  Daughter of the late John Turner Jones and Hattie Lee Cravens Jones, she was a member of the New Castle First Baptist Church.

            She is survived by her daughter: Martha T. Elson, Bethlehem; son: Paul Allan (Kathleen) Troxell, Olive Hill; sister: Jessica Burton, Ohio; brother: Kenneth Dale Jones, Lockport; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.  Hellen was preceded in death by four sons: Richard, Colemen, Sanford and Arthur Troxell; daughter: Wanda Faye Troxell and grand-daughter, Frances Troxell Dellingger.  Hellen was preceded in death by four sons, Richard, Coleman, Sanford and Arthur Troxell; daughter: Wanda Faye Troxell and Grand-daughter: Frances Troxell Dellinger.                

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Bro. J. T. Stinson, of Pleasureville, officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Christine Baxter

 

          Christine Woods Baxter, 84, of New Castle died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Homestead Nursing Center, New Castle.  She was the daughter of the late Marvin “Chick” and Mamie Kelley Woods.

            She is survived by one daughter: Susan Davis, Richmond; two step-daughters: Brenda Kelley, Shelbyville and Linda Downey, Cub Run and a step-son: Larry Baxter, Shelbyville.

            Memorial graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23 at the Smithfield Cemetery.  Rev. Carl Rucker, of Campbellsburg, officiated.  Prewitt new Castle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James Earl Bohannon

 

          James Earl Bohannon, 55, of Campbellsburg, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence.  He was born in Shelbyville on August 6, 1957, the son of the late Frank and Ruth Adler Bohannon.  He was a guard at the Kentucky State Reformatory, Roederer Correctional Complex near LaGrange, and was a member of the Eminence Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Gina Bartley Bohannon, Campbellsburg; two sons: Robert (Amanda) Bohannon, Louisville and Michael (Jessica) Bohannon, Mt. Washington; two grandchildren: Kendrick Bohannon and Chloe Bohannon; two sisters: Elaine (Don) Taylor, Cropper and Donna (Bruce) King, Horse Cave.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Michael Duncan, Pastor of the Eminence Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Billie Bramlet

 

          Billie Louise Coleman Bramlet, 69, of Eminence, died Monday, June 17, 2013.  Daughter of the late Loyd and Verda Nichols Coleman, she was a member of the New Castle United Methodist Church.

            She is survived by two step-daughters: Bethany (Daniel) Humphrey, Eminence and Alicia (Billy) Polsgrove, Houston, TX; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Bramlet, two sisters and five brothers.

            Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Garry Polston, Pastor of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church, officiated.  Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Nancy Durrett Ethington

 

          Nancy Durrett Ethington, 83, of Shelbyville, died November 13, 2012.  She was a member of the Simpsonville Baptist Church, worked as a substitute teachers, she worked at the Shelby County Trust Bank and the Citizens Union Bank in Shelbyville. 

            She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years: Elmo Ethington; her daughter: Toni Roberts; brother: Jack Durrett; and parents: John and Pearl Durrett.

            She is survived by daughters: Lyn (Dr. Jim) Land, Pat (Tony) Carriss, and Terry (Tom) Hayden; son-in-law: Dr. Bill Roberts; brother: Jimmy (Billieann) Durrett; sister: Mac Lancaster; sister-in-law: Caroline Durrett; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Burial was in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.

Oscar David Ethington

 

          Oscar David Ethington, 69, of Defoe, died Friday, September 14, 2012.  He was born in Defoe and was the son of the late Huston and Naomi Chisholm Ethington.  He was a farmer and a member of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church.  He was a longtime member of the Bluegrass Horse Pulling Association and owned and trained many horses.

            He is survived by his son: David Ethington, Pleasureville; two daughters: Davida Jean (Luis) Rankin, Pleasureville and Marla Gail (Doug) Baily, Shelbyville; three brothers: Wayne (Bonnie) Ethington, Eddie Lee (Becky) Ethington and Hubert Logan, all of Defoe; five sisters: Elizabeth hunt, Louisville, Patsy (Ray) Brewer, Defoe, Roselyn Monhollen, Shelbyville, Beverly (Fred) Creasey, Shelbyville and Teresa (David) McKee, Frankfort; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Et5hington and a sister, sue Ethington. 

             Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. John Underwood officiated.  Interment was in the Ethington Family Cemetery.

Annie “Poose” Evans

 

          Annie “Poose” Evans, 68, of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital, Louisville.  She was the daughter of the late Richard and Rena Mahoney Evans.

            She is survived by two brothers: Forrest “Frosty” Evans, LaGrange and David “Dago” Evans, Pewee Valley.

            Funeral services were held on Monday, July 16 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. David Combs, Pastor of the New Castle United Methodist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Janet Eversole

 

          Janet Barnes Eversole, 61, of Turners Station, died Friday, August 20, 2004 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Hubert Robert and Thelma Ruth Sutherland Barnes, and a member of the Wesley Baptist Church.

            She is survived by her husband: Taylor Sculley, Turners Station; four daughters: Karen Gayle9 Roger) Miller, Owenton, Janet Ruth (James) Thomas, Frenchburg, Melissa Rae Kindoll and April Marksberry, both of Carrollton; two sons: Walter E. Wentworth, Franklinton and Johnny Ray Eversole, Hazd; six sisters: Wiletta (Victor) Ochey, Jennie (Tom) Long, Dora Frazier, Betty McGuire and Lillian (Ray) Smith, all of Carrollton, and Martha Barnes, Madison, IN; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 23 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Dr. Lynn Gant, Hospice of Louisville Chaplain, officiated.  The body was cremated and a memorial graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26 at the residence.

Calvin Ewing

 

          Calvin Ewing, 89, of Pleasureville, died Monday, July 2, 2001 at Homestead Nursing Center in New Castle.  He was a native of Shelby  County, the son of the late Robert and Kathie Baugh Ewing, a retired farmer and a member of the Franklinton Baptist Church.

            He is survived by several cousins.

            Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2001 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Billy Marcum officiated.  Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Anna Fewell

 

          Anna Frances Fewell, 80, of Bedford, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 near Bedford.  She was a native of Trimble County, the daughter of the late Fitch and Mary Catlett Griffith, a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

            She is survived by two sons: Edward Lee Fewell and Ernie Fewell, both of Bedford;  one brother: William Edward Griffith, Madison, IN; one sister: Eva Mae Wilson, Campbellsburg; three grandchildren and several foster children.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Fewell.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. Evert Staib officiated.  Interment was in the Campbellsburg Cemetery.

Cora Fewell

 

          Cora Lee Fewell, 81, of Campbellsburg, died Monday, January 7, 2002 at the Trimble Nursing Center.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora Wade Lynch, a homemaker and a member of the Campbellsburg Methodist Church.

          She is survived by one son: Richard Fewell, Campbellsburg; one sister: Ruth Fewell, Pendleton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fewell.

            Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. David Terry officiated.  Burial was in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.

Larry Fields

 

          Larry Ray Fields, 49, of Campbellsburg, died suddenly Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange.  He was the son of the late James Earl “Mousie” Fields, a former employee of Fischer Meat Packing Co., Louisville, and a member of the New Castle Main Street Baptist Church.

            He is survived by a daughter: Tonia Lynn Fields, Louisville; mother: Jean Catherine Griffin Fields, Campbellsburg; one sister: Deborah (William) Clemmons, Smithfield; and two brothers: James Howard Fields, Pendleton and Walter Morris Fields, Georgetown.

            Funeral services were held Friday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at New Castle Main Street Baptist Church.  Rev. Meredith Trabue, Pastor of the New Castle Main Street Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the G.U.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Castle.

Earl Fink

 

          Earl Wayne Fink, 62, of Carrollton, formerly of Henry County, died Friday, February 8, 2001 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton.  He was the son of the late Walter Leslie and Clara Blackaby Fink, a U. S. Army Veteran and a retired heavy equipment operator.

            He is survived by his wife: Ada Louden Fink, Bedford; two daughters: Donna (Irvin) Byerly, LaGrange and Sue (Fredy) Cortes, Goshen; three sons: Walter Fink and Tommy Fink, both of Bedford, and Phil Fink, New Castle; five sisters: Lucille Parks, Frankfort, Elnora McAllister, Eminence, Jewel Raisor, Bardstown, Allie Hazelwood Bramlette, Campbellsburg and Ruby (Tommy) Willhite, Scottsburg, IN; one brother: James Fink, Franklinton and eight grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Michael Duncan, Pastor of the Eminence Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Larry Montgomery.  Interment was in the Franklinton Cemetery.

Herman Fisher

 

          Herman T. Fisher, 77, of Eminence, died Monday, December 17, 2001 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Herman and Lula Thomas Fisher, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, retired from Fischer Packing Company and a member of the First Baptist Church, Eminence.

            He is survived by two daughters: Mildred LaMarr, Louisville and Debra K. Fisher, Eminence; two sons: Barry L. Fisher and Danny Fisher, both of Eminence; one sister: Emma Allen, Eminence; four grandchildren and one step-grandson.

            Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 19 at the First Baptist Church, Eminence.  Dr. W. H. Goatley, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eminence, officiated, assisted by Rev. Charles Duncan and Rev. Robert Jesse Fields.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.

Malcolm G. Fitzgerald

 

          Malcolm G. Fitzgerald, 80, of Eminence, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at his residence after a long illness.  He was a native of Owen County, a farmer, a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Churches and the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Mullin Fitzgerald.

            He is survived by his wife: Annie Bea Bibb Fitzgerald, Eminence; four sons: Danny Fitzgerald, Michael Fitzgerald and Tim Fitzgerald, all of Eminence and Reggie Fitzgerald, Verona; two sisters: Essie (Joe) Griffith, Cincinnati, OH and Twilla (Jim) Beckham, New Albany, IN; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Fitzgerald.

            Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. at the Eminence United Pentecostal Church.  Rev. Robert Eades, Pastor of the Eminence United Pentecostal Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Robert Cavaness, Pastor of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church, Shelbyville, IN, Rev. Michael J. Williams, Pastor of the Pentecostals of Apopka, Florida, Rev. Louis Eddy, Eminence and Rev. Kenneth Dyson, Memphis, TN.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery on Thursday, May 20.  Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Erline Fletcher

 

          Erline Johns Fletcher, 92, of Port Royal, formerly of Romney, West Virginia, died Friday, June 7, 2002 at Bradford Square Nursing Home, Frankfort.  She was a native of Jessamine County, the daughter of the late Phillip Forbes and Lizzie lee Harvey Johns and a member of the First Baptist Church, Romney, WVA.

            She is survived by three daughters: Louise Dodd, Romney, West Virginia, Nancy (Ronald) Young, Turners Station and Nadine (Larry) Cox, Frankfort; one brother: Sanders C. Johns, Wilmore; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Fletcher and one son, James C. Fletcher, Jr.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Carl Rucker, Pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.

Richard Foley

 

          Richard Lee Foley, 56, of Pleasureville, died suddenly Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at his residence.  He was a native of Jefferson County, formerly of Louisville, the son of the late Ivan David and Pauline Flener Foley, a U.S. Army veteran and a security guard for Moore’s Security at L.G.&E. Power Plant in Trimble County.

            He is survived by his wife: Barbara Foley, Elizabethtown; one brother: Carl Foley, Louisville; three step-daughters: Cindy (Glenn) Smith, Louisville, Tina (Nick) Eavces, Carrollton and Carrie (Shane) Kelly, LaGrange; one step-son: Jeff Martin, Carrollton; eleven step-grandchildren and two nephews.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Glenn Smith, Louisville, officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Charles Ford

 

          Charles “Charlie” William Ford, 70, of Waddy, died Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.  He was the son of the late Lester and Mealie Wayne Ford, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a construction worker, a Kentucky Colonel, a charter member of the Highland Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Hill Christian Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Juanita Bennett Ford, Waddy; two daughters: Carolyn Heightchew, Bagdad and Rhonda Cox, Waddy; one son: Lester Ford, Waddy; one brother James Edward Ford, Jeffersontown; one sister: Pauline Whitaker, Shelbyville; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

          Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiated.  Interment was in the Mt. Vernon Church Cemetery, Shelby County.

Bina Foree

 

          Bina Baird Foree, 83, of New Castle, died Friday, December 14, 2001 at Tri-County Baptist Hospital.  She was a native of Larue County, the daughter of the late G.W. and Lorena Enlow Baird, retired after twenty-one years as a school teacher, was the first Home Economics Extension Agent in Henry County and a member of the New Castle First Baptist Church.

            She is survived by two sons: Dr. John Baird Foree, Campbellsburg and Robert H. Foree, Eminence and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Foree.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 17 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Dr. David Charlton, Pastor of the New Castle First Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Kenneth Foree

 

          Kenneth Foree, 80, of Bedford, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Norton Hospital, Louisville.  He was the son of the late Warren and Elizabeth Foree, a member of the carpenter’s union of Kentucky and Indiana, and a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Lena W. Foree, Bedford; one son: Kenneth Foree, Goshen; one daughter: Kathi McGuire, Bedford; three sisters: Lenora Barnett, Bedford, Warrena Reid, Louisville and Anita Herren, Bradfordsville; three brothers: John Foree, Smithfield, Joe Foree, Campbellsburg and Bill Foree, Louisville and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Webb Foree.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at the Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.  Rev. Jeff Tingle and Rev. Nick Coleman officiated.

Lucy Foree

 

          Lucy Mae Foree, 77, of Eminence, died Saturday, December 21, 2012 at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange.  She was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary Dement Foree.

            She is survived by two daughters: Emma Smith, Eminence and Doris Johnson, Sulphur.

          Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. E. B. Higgins officiated.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.

Mary Foree

 

          Mary Katherine Foree, 68, of Eminence, died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville.  She was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary Gladys DeMint Foree, a retired employee of Brunswick and a member of the Second Baptist Church, Campbellsburg.

            She is survived by two daughters: Lena Durrett, Shelbyville and Gladys Jones, Louisville; one son: James Robert Foree, Eminence; four sisters: Helena (J.C.) Harris, Campbellsburg, Lucy Mae Smith, Sulphur, Margaret Ann Foree, Eminence, and Helen (Tony) Harper, Hattiesburg, MS; four brothers: John William Foree, Pleasureville, Ben Foree and Owen Foree, Jr. both of Campbellsburg and Shelby Jake Foree, Eminence; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 20 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.  Rev. Robert J. Fields, associate minister at the First Baptist Church, Eminence, officiated.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.

William Foree, Sr.

 

          William N. “Billy Nolan” Foree, Sr., 87, of Danville, died Monday, July 9, 2001 at the Haven House, Atlanta, GA.  He was a native of Henry County, the son of the late Robert T. and Edith Smith Foree, Sr., a retired executive of the H. J. Hines Company, Pittsburgh, PA for 35 years, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Huguenot Society of Kentucky and a member of the Danville United Methodist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Virginia Moody Foree, Roswell, GA; two daughters: Phoebe (Marvin) Nyren, Sr., Northbrook, IL and Mary Foree, Salt Lake City, UT; one son: William N. Foree, Jr., Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Garry Polston, Pastor of the New Castle United Methodist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Anthony Fortner

 

          Anthony Wayne Fortner, 30, of Henderson, formerly of Eminence, died Friday, April 27, 2001 at Connieaut, OH.  He was a native of Jefferson County and an employee of the Nationwide Tower Company, Henderson.

            He is survived by one daughter: Christine Fortner, Eminence; his parents: Julius Clayton and Phyllis J. Stivers Fortner, Eminence; three brothers: David Fortner, LaGrange, Michael Fortner, Waddy and Kenneth Fortner, Eminence; a half-sister: Terri Kays, Shelbyville; two half-brothers: Billy Readon, Lockport and Franklin Readon, Shelbyville.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Kenny Talbott, associate Pastor of the Shelbyville Christian Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

          Annie Lee Clark Frazier, 64, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Louisville.  She was the daughter of the late Walter Sullivan and Annie Payton Clark.

            She is survived by her daughter: Betty (Dutch) Aldridge, Bagdad; granddaughters: Brooklyn and Kerrigan Aldridge; sister: Ola Mae Heitzman, Orlando, FL; and brothers: John Robert Clark, Shelbyville and Jimmie Lee (Annie) Clark, Charlestown, IN.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Bill Clark, Joe Sullivan Clark and Raymond Rice Clark; and three sisters, Lydia Margaret Stethen, Janie Catherine Pettit and Emma Louise Stethen.

            Funeral services were held at 111:00 a.m. Friday, September 7 at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Interment was in the Bagdad Cemetery.

          Carolyn Jane Carson Frazier, 60, of Port Royal, died Friday, September 12, 2008 at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange.  She was the daughter of the late Howard and Viola Rogers Carson.

            She is survived by five daughters: Lola Frazier, Campbellsburg, Beverly Morales, LaGrange, Carol Ann (Tom) Richie, Crestwood, Thelma Reza and Rebecca (Daniel) Martin, all of Port Royal; one son: Bobby (Jean) Crouch, Crestwood; one sister: Rebecca Sacra, Cropper; two brothers: Cleaveland Carson, Williamstown and Terry Carson, Eminence; eighteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Mart Frazier, and one granddaughter.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Bro. James Maroney, Pastor of the Campbellsburg Apostolic Church, officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Russell Frazier

 

          Russell T. Frazier, 87, of Eminence, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at the Homestead Nursing Center in New Castle.  He was a native of Shelby County, the son of the late Clarence and Cora Ray Frazier, Sr., a farmer, and a member of the Eminence United Methodist Church.

            He is survived by two sons: Garland Russell Frazier and Harold Leslie Frazier, both of Eminence; two brothers: Wallace Frazier, Lexington and Harold Eugene Frazier, Kennesaw, GA; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bailey Frazier.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.  Rev. Howard Dorsey, Lexington, officiated, assisted by Dr. R. Walton Gardner, Lexington.  Interment was in the Shady Lawn Cemetery, Shelby County.

Billy Fugate

 

          Billy O. Fugate, 62, of Campbellsburg, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Everett O. and Martha Fugate.

            He is survived by his wife: Sandra L. Montgomery Fugate, Campbellsburg; one son: Leon Stacy Fugate, Campbellsburg; three daughters: Tina Renee Fugate, Bedford, Sherry Landry and Dana Sue Pipes, both of Campbellsburg. One  brother: Bobby Fugate, Bedford; four sisters: Shirley Ann Sutherland, Nancy Ball and Betty Stark, all of Bedford and Brenda Fugate Christian, Indiana; and four grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.  Pastor James Montgomery and Sister Kathy Montgomery officiated.

Cora Fulkerson

 

          Cora Lillian Ethington Fulkerson, 94, of Louisville, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Christopher East Nursing Center, Louisville.  She was a native of Henry County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Eva Payton Ethington, a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Co. and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, Louisville.

            She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Fulkerson.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Larry Rhodes officiated.  Burial was in the Defoe Cemetery.
