Elizabeth Ann Goins

 

Elizabeth Ann Goins, 62, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005, at the VA Medical Center, Louisville.  She was a native of Youngstown, Ohio and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

 

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Goins; a daughter: Beth Cain (Matt); and extra daughter, Margaret Solmonson; a sister: Pat Toth; and her granddaughter, Samantha Cain.

 

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Middletown, Kentucky, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Roger Golden      

 

Roger Golden, age 62 of New Castle, died Friday, July 29, 2005 at the VA Hospital in Louisville.  He was a welder, a member of the Henry Christian Church and the son of the late E. C. and Dorothy Most Golden.

 

He is survived by his wife: Mary Louden Golden, New Castle; two sons: Brian Golden, Eminence and Shawn Golden, Turners Station; four brothers: Ronnie Golden and Chilion

Golden, both of Bethlehem, Harold “Shorty” Golden, Bullitt County, and Jerry Golden, Davie, Florida and five grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 1 at the Henry Christian Church.  Rev. Ed Berry, pastor of the Henry Christian Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasureville, Cemetery.  Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ruth Golden

 

Mrs. Ruth Kindel Golden, 94, of Sulphur, died Tuesday, October 6 at her residence.  She was a native of Maury County, Tennessee, and a member of the Sulphur Methodist Church.

 

She is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Sarah Foree, Sulphur; one son: Thomas K. Golden, Sulphur; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 9 at Prewitt’s Funeral Home, New Castle.  Rev. Elwood Norton, pastor of the Sulphur Methodist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Nick Coleman, pastor of the Children of the King Church, Bedford.  Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Thomas K. Golden

 

Thomas K. Golden, age 81 of Sulphur, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange.  Son of the late Sam b. and Ruth Kindel Golden, he was a farmer and a retired construction superintendent.  He was a member of the Sulphur Methodist Church.

 

He is survived by one daughter: Rickie Melvin and husband, Boyd, of Pendleton; two grandsons: Thomas B. Melvin, Sulphur and James Marcus Melvin, Tomball, Texas; two great-grandsons: Nathan Melvin and Jacob Melvin, both of Tomball, Texas; one sister: Sarah Foree, Sulphur; one niece: Ruth Brady, Lakeland, Florida and one nephew, Eddie Foree, Sulphur.

 

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Pastor Mike Snyder of Nicholasville officiated, assisted by Rev. Jim Powell, pastor of the Sulphur United Methodist Church.  Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Elzy Goodloe

 

Mr. Elzy Goodloe, 54, of Eminence, died Friday, March 30th, 1984 at the Humana Hospital University, Louisville, after an illness.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eminence.

 

He is survived by one son: Jimmy C. Goodloe, Eminence and several cousins.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3rd from Prewitt’s New Castle.  Dr. W. H. Goatley, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eminence, officiated.  Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Castle.

Frank Goodloe, Sr.

 

Frank W. Goodloe, Sr., 70, of New Castle, died Saturday, February 4, 1984 at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville.  He was a retired farmer, a retired custodian and school bus driver for the Henry County Public Schools, a former member of the New Castle Town Board, a member and treasurer of the Washington Lodge #1513, New Castle, and a trustee and member of the Main Street Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Blakemore Goodloe, New Castle; four daughters: Mrs. James (Jean) Fields, Campbellsburg, Mrs. Nelson (Mary Jo) Collins, Lowellville, Ohio, Mrs. Ronald (Allie) Gay and Mrs. Billy (Joyce) Hayden, both of New Castle; three sons: Frank Goodloe, Jr., New Castle, James O. Goodloe, Prospect and William H. Goodloe, New Castle; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 8th at the Main Street Baptist Church, New Castle.  Rev. Merdith Trabue, pastor of the Main Street Baptist Church, New Castle, officiated.  Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Castle.  Prewitt Funeral Home, New Castle, was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Goodloe

 

Mary Esther Goodloe, age 65 of New Castle, died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange.  She was the daughter of the late Dillard and Helen Dixie Miles and an employee of the Brunswick Corporation.

 

She is survived by her husband: William “Deck” Goodloe, New Castle; three stepsons: Lysander Hill, Eminence, Oliver Goodloe and Kim Goodloe, both of Shelbyville; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Funeral services will be today Wednesday, June 1) at 1 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church, New Castle.  Rev. Merdith Trabue, pastor of the Main Street Baptist Church, will officiate.  Interment will be in the New Castle IOOF Cemetery.

Andy Goodlow

 

Andy R. Goodlow, 75, of Eminence, died Wednesday, February 15, 1984 at the Capital Hall Nursing Home, Frankfort.  He was a retired employee of Berry Brothers Lumber Company, Eminence.

 

He is survived by one son: Elza Goodlow, Eminence; one sister: Mrs. Fannie Rogers, Pleasureville; one grandson: James Goodlow, Eminence and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 17 from Prewitt’s, New Castle.  Dr. W. H. Goatley, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eminence, officiated.  Interment was in the Ditto Cemetery, Pleasureville.

Harry Goodlow

 

Harry “Dobin” Goodlow, 68, of Pleasureville died at his home on Friday, December 7, 1973.

 

Survivors include two sons: John William Goodlow, Cincinnati and Cecil Wayne Goodlow, Pleasureville.  He is also survived by two daughters: Brenda Faye and Linda Joyce Goodlow of Pleasureville; two sisters: Mrs. Fannie Rogers, Pleasureville and Mrs. Laura Johnson, Shelbyville; and one brother: Andy Goodlow, Eminence.

 

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 10, 1973 at the Thomas Funeral Home in Pleasureville with the Rev. Ken Shaw, pastor of the Pleasureville Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Al Goodman

 

Al W. Goodman, age 67 of Lockport, formerly of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.  He was the son of the late John Robert and Barbara Ellen Johnson Goodman, a member of the Lockport Church of Christ, a retired roofing contractor and an Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne Division.

 

He is survived by four sons: Al Doodman, Jr., Western Kentucky, George Goodman, Pleasureville, John Goodman, Frankfort and Joe Giles, Shelbyville; seven daughters: Barbara Schoenbaechler, Eminence, Sissy B. Goodman, Alabama, Maggie Goodman, Indiana, Kim Peach, Pleasureville, Ramona Goodman, Shelbyville, Liza Perry, Lawrenceburg and Loretto Lefler, Shelbyville; three sisters: Margie Lewis, Finchville, Frances Goodman, Shelbyville and Nellie Allison, Oklahoma; one brother: Clyde Monroe Goodman, Frankfort; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one son: Thomas Allen Goodman and one brother.

 

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 18 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Bill Brumley officiated.  Interment was in Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Lilliam H. Goodwin

 

Mrs. Lillian H. Goodwin, 39, died at her home at 1122 South Fourth Street, Louisville, Friday following a short illness.  She had lived in Louisville for the past seventeen years and was a graduate of the Campbellsburg High School.

Bertha Gordon

 

Mrs. Bertha Gordon, 83 of Eminence, died Thursday, June 1, 1978 at the King’s Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville..  She was a member of the Eminence Baptist Church.

 

Survivors are one daughter: Mrs. Martha Wadsworth, Eminence; two sisters: Mrs. Martha (Matt) Tinsley and Mrs. Nancy Hawkins, both of Eminence.

 

Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at Ricketts Funeral Home in Eminence with Rev. Stan Chaney, pastor of the Eminence Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.

Cornelia Gordon

 

Mrs. Cornelia Gordon, 90, of New Castle, died Thursday, January 26, 1984 at the King’s Daughters Hospital, Frankfort.  She was a native of Utica, Indiana and a member of the New Castle Christian Church.

 

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. W. F. (Martha) Jones, New Castle, Mrs. Catherine Wright, New Castle and Miss Charlotte Gordon, Las Vegas, Nevada; one granddaughter: Mrs. Sue Carol Yarbrough, Bowling Green; and two great-grandchildren: Jill Yarbrough and Bo Yarbrough, both of Bowling Green.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 30 from Prewitt’s, New Castle.  Dr. Clayton Klingenfus, pastor of the New Castle Christian Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Mikeal Parsons, pastor of the First Baptist Church, New Castle.  Interment was in the Louisville Memorial Gardens, East, Oldham County.

Mona Goulet

 

Mona C. (Duncan) Goulet, age 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana died September 13, 1991 in Youngstown, Ohio as the result of an accident.  She was formerly of Henry County and the daughter of the late Herbert B. and Edmonia Woirhaye Duncan.

 

Survivors include one son: Philip D. Goulet; one daughter: Cheryl Walton; one sister: Leota Mather and four grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 18 at the Emerson Avenue Baptist Church, Indianapolis with entombment in Washington Park East, Indianapolis.  Shirley Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gladys Gowin

 

Mrs. Rosco Gowin, 72, LaGrange, died Saturday, March 16, 1985 at the Methodist Evangelical Hospital, Louisville.  She was a native of Henry County, the former Gladys Chisholm and a member of the DeHaven Memorial Baptist Church, LaGrange.

 

She is survived by her husband: Rosco Gowin, LaGrange; two daughters: Mrs. Jean Hancock and Mrs. Betty McIntosh, both of LaGrange; one brother: Carroll Chisholm, Eminence; one sister: Mrs. Frank Kerby, Louisville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange.  Rev. William E. Day, pastor of the DeHaven Memorial Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.

Alberta Graves

 

Mrs. Alberta Louise Graves, age 74, of Worthville died Saturday, June 17, 1995 at the Jewish Hospital, Louisville.  She was a housewife and a member of the Worthville Christian Church.

 

She is survived by her husband: Robert A, Graves, Worthville; one daughter: Carolyn Noe, Campbellsburg; one son: Bobby Graves, Wheatley; two sisters: Bessie Mefford, LaGrange and Claudene Tingle, Campbellsburg; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.  Rev. Joel Santos officiated.  Interment was in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery, Wheatley.

Christine Graves

 

Christine Graves, age 88, of Sulphur, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Homestead Nursing Center.  She was the daughter of the late Norvel and Nellie Shepherd Graves, a member of the Sligo Baptist Church and worked as a caregiver.

 

She is survived by one brother: Malcolm Graves, Sulphur.  She was preceded in death by one brother.

 

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 25, at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford.  Rev. Earl Wayne Perry officiated.  Interment was in the Sligo Cemetery.

Clara Graves

 

Mrs. Clara Barnes Graves, age 80, of Smithfield died Sunday, March 12, 1995 at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange, after a long illness.  She is a native of Oldham County, a retired school teacher in Henry, Oldham and Trimble Counties for 36 ½  years and a member of the Sligo Baptist Church for fifty years.

 

She is survived by her husband: W. P. Graves, Smithfield; two sons: J. W. Graves, Springfield, Tennessee and Ronald Graves, Smithfield; one sister: Mrs. Gilbert (Tillie) Brown, Louisville; one brother: Rev. Morris Barnes, Louisville; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 15) at the Prewitt Funeral Home, New Castle.  Rev. Dale Hanson, pastor of the Sligo Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment will be in the Sligo Cemetery.

Kate Graves

 

Mrs. Kate Graves, 89 years of age, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Nichols, at Sulphur, Saturday evening, after a continued illness of paralysis.  She had been in declining health for several years and her death was not unexpected.

 

The funeral was held at the Eminence Christian Church, of which she was a member, on Tuesday afternoon.  The rites were conducted by Revs. H. W. Elliott and J. B. Yager with interment in the Eminence Cemetery.

 

The deceased is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. A. H. Nichols, with whom she made her home, Mrs. O. R. Yager, Mrs. Will Hawkins, Kansas City, Missouri, and Warren Graves.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. L.C. Graves, age 81, of Sulphur died Friday, January 21, 1994 at Brownsboro Hills Nursing Home.  He was a farmer and a member of the Sligo Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Elsie Clifford Graves, Sulphur; one daughter: Mrs. Evon Horn, Sulphur; one brother: Malcolm Graves, Sulphur; one sister: Christine Graves, Sulphur and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one grandson.

 

Funeral services were Sunday, January 23, at 2 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.  Bro. Dale Hanson, pastor of the Sligo Baptist Church, officiated.  Burial was in the Sligo Cemetery.

Lawrence Vernon Graves

 

Lawrence Vernon Graves, 80, of Louisville, passed away Saturday at Sacred Heart Village.  He was a native of Pleasureville, a Navy Veteran of WWII, a retired electrician for IBEW Local #369, a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge and the American Legion in Leitchfield.

 

He is survived by a daughter: Vickie Way (Marty); two sisters: Gladys Adams and Dodie French and a grandson: Kyle Way.

 

His funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, Louisville, with burial in the Louisville Memorial Gardens – East.

Logan K. Gray

 

First Lieutenant Logan K. Gray, U.S. Air Force Ret., 52, of Cedar Crest Senior Citizens Home, Calvert City, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 1975 at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah.  He was a member of the First Christian Church, Louisville.  He was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII and a native of Henry County.

 

He is survived by one sister: Mrs. Linden (Martha) Powell, Gilbertsville and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from Prewitt’s officiated by Rev. Herbert Drane, pastor of the Prospect Christian Church.  Graveside services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday with full military service at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D. C.

John Ed Green

 

John Ed Green, 70 of Eminence, died suddenly Sunday, June 12, 1983, at the Methodist Hospital, Louisville.  He was a retired employee with the Ohio Valley Aluminum Company in Shelbyville and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Shelby County.

 

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Willie Thomas Green, Eminence; one daughter: Mrs. Eli (Eva) Taylor, Louisville; One son: Bernett Green, Louisville; two sisters: Mrs. Ruby Thomas and Mrs. Willie Mae Moore, both of Eminence; one brother, Roy Wakefield, Shelbyville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 16th at the First Baptist Church, Eminence.  Rev. Harry Weaver, pastor of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Dr. W. H. Goatley, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eminence.  Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.  Prewitt’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Vivian Greene

 

Vivian Dean Greene, age 62 of Shelbyville, died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the Crestview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Shelbyville following an illness.  He was a native of Pleasureville and son of the late Paul Greene and Fannie B. Goodloe Rogers.  He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, retired from Genral Electric in Louisville and was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.

 

He is survived by one daughter, Dawn L. Farrell, Lizella, Georgia; two sons: Viron Greene, Cadiz and Jermaine Greene, Pleasureville; four sisters: sue Greene and Zelma McCorry, both of Dayton, Ohio, Garnetta Robinson, Cincinnati and Peggy Chambers, Shelbyville; two brothers: Charles Rogers, Arizona and Jackie Rogers, Dayton, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 24 at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, Shelbyville.  Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Shelbyville.

Helen Hudson Greenwood

 

Death has ended Helen Hudson Grenwood’s fight against Poilo.  She died at 11:25 A. M. Saturday at her home in Sulphur after seventeen years and four months in an iron lung.

She was believed to have been in an iron lung longer than any other polio patient hit as hard as she was by the disease.  Miss Greenwood could move only her head.  She was stricken in 1944 when working for Citizens Fidelity Bank and Trust Company in Louisville.

 

She is survived by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Greenwood, Sulphur; a sister: Mrs. Mose Garrett, Sulphur; two brothers: John and Garnett Greenwood, both of Sulphur and two nieces.  

 

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Prewitt Funeral Home in New Castle.  The Rev. Charles Pinkston, pastor of the Sulphur Methodist Church, where Miss Greenwood was a member, officiated.  He was assisted by the Rev. Ira Moore, pastor of the Sulphur Baptist Church.  Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Rev. Clinton H. Greer

 

The Rev. Clinton H. Greer, 88, Lexington, a retired Methodist minister and one-time missionary to Cuba, died Wednesday after an illness of three weeks.  He was a native of Bardstown and held degrees from Kentucky Wesleyan and Vanderbilt University.  He was a former pastor of the Pleasureville Methodist Church.

 

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday.  Burial was in Lexington.

 

He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. David L. Morton, Lexington and Mrs. L. Allen Davies, St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers: Same B. Greer, Bardstown and Burr Greer, Quincy, Florida.

Beatrice Gregory

 

Beatrice Gregory, age 87 of Eminence, died Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at the Hospice Unit of Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange.  She was a native of Taylorsville, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Osie Hilbert Young, a member of the Eminence Church of God and a homemaker.

 

She is survived by one son: Roy Gregory, Campbellsburg; three daughters: Martha Lisby Gregory, E,inence, Betty Craig, Cropper and Kathleen Coyle, Prospect; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Orba Lee Gregory and one brother.

 

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Paul Harvey, Crossroads Lighthouse Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Grove Hill Cemetery.

Rosie Griffin

 

Mrs. Rosie (Granny) Griffin, 72 of Route 1, Smithfield died suddenly Sunday, May 31, 1981, at the King’s Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville.  She was a native of Lee County and a member of the Rosses Creek Christian Church in Lee County.

 

She is survived by her husband: Sid Griffin, Route 1, Smithfield; one daughter: Mrs. Martin (Thelma) Mayse, Route 2, Eminence; four sisters: Mrs. Ernest (Gladys) Gabbard, Connersville, Indiana, Mrs. Allie (Louise) Horn and Mrs. Wilgus (Mattie) Horn and Mrs. Woodrow (Jessie) Gilbert, all of Irvine, Kentucky; three brothers: Alex Stamper, Irvine, Ky., Wayne Stamper, Burlington, Ky. and Odis Stamper, Dayton, Ky.; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 2nd from Prewitt’s, New Castle.  Rev. Don Ross, pastor of the Smithfield Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Smithfield Cemetery.

Harold Gross, Sr.

 

Harold Gross, Sr., 71 of LaGrange, died Saturday, April 3, 1982, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisville.  He was a retired foreman of the Bridge and Building Division for the L & N. Railroad.  Since his retirement, he had served as custodian for the L & N Fishing Club at LaGrange.  He was a native of Carroll County, a member of the Worthville Baptist Church and a Veteran of WWII.

 

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Lula Montgomery Gross, LaGrange; one daughter: Mrs. Bill (Mary) Bastin, Sulphur; two sons: Harold Gross, Jr. and George Michael Gross, Sulphur; one sister: Ms. Mary K. Gross, Louisville and ten grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 5th at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange.  Rev. Al Claybrooks, pastor of the Covington Ridge Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.

Dee Gunnell

 

Dee Gunnell, age 51, Eminence, died at his home at 8:30 p.m. June 24, 1975.  Cause of death was a heart attack. 

 

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Ruby Gunnell; a daughter: Mrs. Sandra Hollar; three sons: Wayne B. Gunnell, Eminence, Danny Gunnell, Middletown and Bobby Gunnell, Eminence; three sisters: Mrs. Willie Mae Hill, Georgetown, Mrs. Annie Wilder, Rantoul, Illinois and Mrs. Jean Williams, Georgetown; one brother: Wenfred Gunnell, Georgetown and four grandchildren.

 

Funeral was held Friday, June 27th from Prewitts and conducted by Rev. Howard Olds of the Crstwood United Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. Moore of Eminence Methodist.

 

Mr. Gunnell was a former mayor of Eminence, an Eminence business man, a WWII veteran, a member of the VFW and a Kentucky Colonel.  He was the first Stae Policeman to reside in Henry County.

James Guthrie

 

James Guthrie, 70, of Shelbyville, died Monday, October 15, 1984,  at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville.  He was a farm supply dealer in Henry and Shelby Counties , a member and elder of the First Christian Church, Shelbyville and a captain in the Army Air Corp in WWII.

 

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Loula Maddox Guthrie, Shelbyville; one daughter: Mrs. Rosalee Buecker, Shelbyville; two sons: James Guthrie, Jr., Henry County and Gay Hanna Guthrie, Shelbyville; six grandchildren and one brother: John H. Guthrie, Lexington.

 

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 17th at the Shelbyville First Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Roy Sharp officiated.  Interment was in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville, was in charge of the arrangements.
