Mr. Lawrence Earl Kelley, age 86, of Shelbyville died Monday, March 6, 1995 at the Masonic Homes of Kentucky, Shelbyville. He was a native of Henry County, a farmer and a member of the Lockport Baptist Church and Lockport Masonic Lodge #772.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Pete (Patsy) Wills, Shelbyville; two sisters: Virgie Chisholm, Frankfort and Maude Hopper, Gest and four nieces.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 9th, at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville, at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Harold Jones officiated. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) Kelly, 62, of Bethlehem, died Monday, May 6, 1985, at the King�s Daughters Memorial Hospital, Frankfort.
She is survived by her husband: John Robert Kelly, Bethlehem; one daughter: Mrs. Earl (Mary Ann) Holmes, Jr., Pleasureville; one son: John Lee Kelly, Pleasureville; five grandchildren: Kelly Holmes, Audrea Holmes, Linda Kelly, Jeremy Kelly and Jonathan Kelly, all of Pleasureville; two sisters: Mrs. Gladys Flynn and Mrs. Ann Edgar, both of Jeffersontown; and four brothers: Edward Martin, Jeffersontown, A. J. Martin, Jr., Finchville, Matthew Martin, Pleasureville and Greer Martin, Mount Eden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday (today), May 9th at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Reid will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasreville Cemetery.

Mrs. Maude Tingle Kelley, 64, of Franklinton, died at 8:45 p.m., August 24, 1951, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gayle Chilton, near Franklinton, after a long illness.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by her husband, Lloyd Kelley; one sister: Mrs. G. W. Thomas, Franklinton; one brother: Frank Tingle, Shelbyville and two grandchildren: Ashley Nyle and Brenda Gayle Chilton, Franklinton.
Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. August 26th, at the Franklinton Baptist Church. Rev. Harry Thomas, pastor of the church, officiated. Interment was in the Franklinton Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Allene Jackson, Pleasureville and Mrs. Eloise May, Louisville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister: Mrs. Lucy Harp, Shelbyville.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 13th at the Thomas Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Al Wright officiated. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Nellie Jean Kelly, 52, of English (Carroll County), died February 18, 1985 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. She was a member of the English Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father: Gilbert Bohannon, Lockport; one son: Danny Ray Kelly, English; one daughter: Norma Faye Proctor, English; three grandchildren; five sisters: Mrs. Alan (Beatrice) Quire, Franklinton, Mrs. Leonard (Hester) Raisor, Lockport, Mrs. Willis (Mary Bell) Gibson, Payne, Ohio, Mrs. Chester J. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 21st at the English Baptist Church. Rev. Michael Durbin, pastor of the English Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the English Cemetery.

Sylvia Mae Hardin Kelley, age 87, of Bethlehem died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. She was a native of Henry County, the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Ella Purvis Hardin, a homemaker and a mail carrier.
She is survived by one son: Randy A. Kelley, Bethlehem; one daughter: Marlene Horner, Worthville; one sister: Willdean Shaw, Naples, Florida; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: R. C. Kelley, two grandsons, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 16th at Sholar Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Briscoe officiated. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Mr. William H. Kelley, 90, of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, March 13, 1985 at the King�s Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Madal Kelley, Pleasureville and one daughter, Mrs. Essie Muir, Louisville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15th at the Thomas Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Chris Franklin officiated. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Mrs. Lula Kemp, 60 years old, resident of Henry County, was killed by a Louisville & Nashville passenger train three miles west of LaGrange today, while she was walking along the tracks.
The accident occurred near Powell Station, where Mrs. Kemp alighted from an interurban car to go to the home of a friend, Mrs. Guy Duvall. She chose the L. & N. roadbed to walk on and apparently failed to hear the train which came up in back of her.
Mrs. Kemp is survived by a sister, Mrs. D. O. Stivers, Glenarm, with whom she had been making her home, and a brother.

William Henry Kemp, 59, of Covington, died Monday, August 26, 1985 at St. Elizabeth North. He was a native of Henry County and a retired construction worker.
He is survived by three sons: Larry Joe Kemp and Ronnie Lee Kemp, both of Sulphur and Douglas Wayne Kemp, Louisville; five sisters: Lucy Simmons and Mildred Louden, both of Pendleton, Helen Miller and Georgia McIlvoy, both of Sulphur and Sue McClellan, with whom he lived in Covington.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 29th at the Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford. Rev. Billy McKnight officiated. Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Leonard Kemper, age 85, of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at VA Medical Center, Louisville. He was the son of the late Obie and Belle Peyton Kemper, a member of the Union Baptist Church, a WWII Army Veteran and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife: Clarice Cravens Kemper, Pleasureville; two daughters: Joyce Knapp, Simpsonville and Velma White, Shelbyville; three sons: Leonard Gayle Kemper, Bagdad, Darrell Kemper and Stanley Kemper, both of Pleasureville; one brother: John Lewis Kemper, Bethlehem; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one half-brother and one half-sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 3rd at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Vic Johnson, Union Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Defoe Cemetery.

Services for Obie Lee Kemper, 76, Lebanon Road, will be at the Providence Baptist Church in Trimble County at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the New Castle Cemetery. The Rev. Clay Hughes will officiate.
Mr. Kemper was a native of Henry County, a farmer and a greenskeeper at Perry Park. He was also a member of the Christiansburg Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Obie and Bell Peyton Kemper and the husband of the late Nancy Belle Palmer Kemper.
Survivors include two daughters: Lillian Sparks, Campbellsburg and Thelma Vest, Frankfort; three brothers: Leonard Kemper, Tommy Kemper and John Kemper, all of Henry County; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Virginia Kemper, 94, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nell Riddle, Worthville.
Besides her daughter she is survived by a son: Henry Kemper, Pleasureville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Christian Church in Worthville. Burial was in the Worthville Cemetery.

Mrs. Jane E. Kendall, 56, of Eminence, died Wednesday, April 4, 1984 at her residence after an illness. She was a member of the Eminence Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Carolyn LaFollette and Mrs. Herman (Helen) Moore, both of Eminence; her mother: Mrs. Minnie Gibbs Coons, Eminence; two sisters: Mrs. Lucille Shay and Mrs. John (Mildred) Brewer, both of Eminence; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6th from Prewitt�s, New Castle. Rev. Michael Duncan, pastor of the Eminence Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Mrs. Lenora Durham Kener, 91, of Campbellsburg, died May 31, 1985 at the Pavilion Nursing Center, Louisville. She was a housewife and a member of the Second Baptist Church, Campbellsburg.
She is survived by two sons: William Earl Kener, Washington, D. C. and Elizah B. Keneer, Jr., Louisville; one daughter: Mrs. Bernice Jones, Shelbyville; one brother: Earl Durham, Louisville; twelve grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held June 3rd at the Second Baptist Church, Campbellsburg. Interment was in the G.U.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Castle. Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford was in charge of the arrangements.

Samuel G. Kennedy, 80, a former postmaster and barber at Bethlehem for more than 50 years, died Friday in the Henry County Clinic, Eminence. Kennedy was a well-known figure in his rural community of Bethlehem, where he gained the reputation of being a fashion plate. He frequently wore a derby hat, fancy tie and neatly pressed suit, and carried a cane. He often lent clothes from his wardrobe for minstrel shows in Henry County.
During his fifty years as a professional barber, Kennedy had also been a notary public, an agent for the Courier-journal, and the Bethlehem correspondent for the Henry County Local, weekly newspaper published in New Castle. He also operated a shoe-repair service at his small shop.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie Kennedy, and two daughters: Mrs. Howard Sewell and Mrs. Ross Wallace, both of Bethlehem; a brother: John Kennedy, Henderson; a sister: Mrs. Daisy Wilson, St. Louis; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Point Pleasant Christian Church, where he was a member. Rev. B. W. Cook, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Howard Sewell, pastor of the Corinth Methodist Church, Corinth. Burial was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Glenna V. �Puddie� Kephart, age 92, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville. She was a native of Shelby County, the daughter of the late Jacob and Fannie Arnsparger Kephart, a thirteen year employee of Stewart Home Training School in Frankfort, a retired assistant cashier for the Central Bank for 47 and one-half years, and a member of the Pleasureville Christian Church.
She is survived by a sister: Zada K. Dowden, Pleasureville; a brother: Percy Kephart, New Castle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services were Tuesday, April 20th at 1 p.m. at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Libby McManis, Pleasureville Christian Church, officiated. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife: Winnie Kidwell, Pleasureville; one daughter: Mrs. Bill (Vina) Stivers, Eminence; one son: Eddie Kidwell, Smithfield; four sisters: Louise Rose, Eminence, Mrs. Linden Paul (Ruth) Booth, Madison, Indiana, Mrs. Gene (Patsy) Evans, Smithfield and Mrs. Willie (Dorothy) McCann, Frankfort; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Woods, two brothers and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7th at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home. Rev. Ed Berry, pastor of the Henry Christian Church, officiated, Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.

Joe E. Kidwell, age 88, of Sligo, died Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange. He was a native of Henry County, the son of the late Milt and Mattie Poppe Kidwell, an Army Veteran of WWII, a retired farmer, electrician, plumber and projector operator at Lakeview Drive In Theatre, Pendleton, a member of the Henry County DAV, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife: Gertrude Baertels Kidwell, Sligo; one son: Charlie M. Kidwell, New Orleans, Louisiana; one brother: Lewis Kidwell, Sligo; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1st, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Mark Spalding officiated. Interment was in the Sligo Cemetery with a Military Graveside Service. Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Joe S. Kidwell, Jr., 56, of Eminence, died Sunday, June 9, 1985 in Port Lavaca, Texas, as the result of a fire. He was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his father: Joe S. Kidwell, Sr., Eminence; four sons: Ronnie Kidwell, Donnie Kidwell and Bobby Kidwell, all of Eminence and Larry Kidwell, Louisville; five grandchildren; two brothers: Edward Kidwell and Donald Kidwell, both of Eminence; four sisters: Ruth Anne Booth, Madison, Indiana, Louise Rose, Eminence, Patsy Evans, Smithfield and Dorothy McCann, Frankfort.
Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence. Rev. John Brand, pastor of the Eminence Christian Church, officiated. Interment was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Lewis F. Kidwell, age 90, of Pendleton, died Monday, December 20, 2004 at Baptist Hospital Northeast. He was a retired paint foreman for Devoe Paint Co. for forty years and the son of Milt and Mattie Poppe Kidwell.
He is survived by his wife: Ruby Kidwell, Clearwater, Florida; one son: Brad Kidwell, Tampa, Florida and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 23rd at Bedford Springs Church in Bedford at 1 p.m.. Rev. Nick Coleman of Sulphur officiated and Pastor Jimmy Justice assisted. Interment was in the Sligo Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents: Donnie Glenn and Debra Kaye Hardin Kidwell, Pleasureville; one brother: Edward Allen Kidwell, Shelbyville; grandparents: Anita Jean Martin, Eminence, Mary Mahoney, Eustis, Florida and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

William S. �Boots� Kidwell, age 80, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Baptist Hospital Northeast. He was a mechanic, a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the Sligo Baptist Church and the Oldham County VFW and the son of the late William Alva and Minnie Pearl Burch Kidwell.
He is survived by his wife: Geraldine Cunningham Kidwell, LaGrange; one son: G. Steve. Kidwell, LaGrange; one sister: Mrs. Dan (Dorothy) Fullbright, Santa Maria, California; one brother: Alva Junior Kidwell, Shelbyville; two step-daughters: Mrs. Cecil Wayne(Dorothy) Clark, Port Royal and Mrs. David (Harriett) Devore, Smithfield; two step-sons: Randolph Cunningham, New Castle and Christopher Cunningham, LaGrange; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Roberts Kidwell, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 8th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Barry Broyles, pastor of LaGrange Assembly of God, officiated. Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Kidwell and one daughter, Laura Woods.

He is survived by his wife: Donna Dove, Hamilton, Ohio; three sons: David Lee King, Louisville, Branden Kyle King, Brighton, Michigan and Adam Thomas King, Hamilton, Ohio; two daughters: Kameron Orms, LaGrange and Nicole Elizabeth King, Hamilton, Ohio; his parents: Donnie and Martha King, Smithfield; three sisters: Deborah Crawford, Milton, Donna Feltner, New Castle and Doris Beverly, Bethlehem; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio on Friday, April 29 at 4 p.m. Rev. Scott Miller of Timber Hill Baptist Church will officiate. Cremation was held.

Kelsey King, 75, of Campbellsburg, died March 5, 1988 at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville. He was born in Worthville, Kentucky. He was a member of the Campbellsburg Christian Church, former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, Carrollton and the Campbellsburg Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife: Victoria King, Campbellsburg; one son: Vernon King, Lyndon; one daughter: Juanita Ellegood, Madison, Indiana; one brother: Clifford King, Charlestown, Indiana; one sister: Albertha Trusdell, Madison, Indiana; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Robert �Bob� Theodore King, Jr., age 65 of New Castle, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville. He was retired from the maintenance department of the Henry County Public School system, a member of the Bardstown Junction Baptist Church, an honorary Kentucky Colonel, and the son of the late Robert T., Sr. and Cornelia Mae Braden King.
He is survived by his wife, Janna Owens King, New Castle; two daughters: Robin Woods and Mrs. Greg Paula) Sharp, both of Campbellsburg; one son Robert T. King III, Campbellsburg; one sister: Cornelia Gafford, Auburndal, Florida; two brothers: Eugene L. King, Hodgenville and Terry L. King, Louisville; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Charles (Michael) Duncan, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eminence, officiated. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Susan �Susie� Callis King, age 52, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of LaGrange, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at her residence. She was recently retired from Spotsylvania County School as an autistic resource teacher. She was a member of the Fredericksburg Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late John Harlan Callis, Jr. and Janice Camp Callis.
She is survived by two sons: Brian Joseph and Gregory Michael King; two brothers: John Harlan Callis III and William �Bill� Callis; one sister: Ann Everal Cailteaux and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 16th at 11 a.m. at the Fredericksburg Baptist Church. Dr. J. Larry Haun and Dr. Patti English officiated. Interment was in the City Cemetery.

Thomas Paul King, age 57, of Carrollton, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in his home. He was the son of the late Harry C. and Mary Catherine Elizabeth DeLay King.
He is survived by four daughters: Michelle Rosell, Sandra King, Julie Combs, all of Carrollton and Catherine King, Morningview; one sister: Shirley Will, Tampa, Florida; one brother: Richard King, Independence; eleven grandchildren and one grea-grandson. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Laura Frances Kinley, 41 of Eminence, died Tuesday, January 22, 1980 at her residence after an illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eminence and a native of Danville, Kentucky.
She is survived by her parents: Mrs. And Mrs. Sherman Kinley, Sr., Eminence; two half-brothers: Leslie Mullins, Eminence and Henry L. Smith, Niles, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 24th at the First Baptist Church, Eminence. Dr. W. H. Goatley, pastor, officiated. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery. Prewitt Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Mr. Charles F. Kinslow, 63, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, August 17, 1985, at the Veterans Hospital, Louisville.
He is survived by two sons: Charles Joe Kinslow, Bethlehem and Charles Richard Kinslow, Lenexa, Kansas; three step-sons: Parkie Smith, Bethlehem, Freddie Smith, St. Matthews and Harry Dale Smith, Plattsburg, New York; two step-daughters: Martha Smith, Owenton and Mrs. Madolyn Golden, Bethlehem; four grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; one brother: Ray Kinslow, Terrysville, Ohio and one sister: Mrs. Clarence Hopkins, Louisville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 20th at the Thomas Funeral Home, Pleasureville. Rev. Paul Reid officiated. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Mrs. Rebecca Kirby, 76, died Thursday, July 9, 1942 at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Meredith Shelton at Point Pleasant.
Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Wilson, in Smithfield at 10:30 a.m., Saturday. Burial was in the Smithfield Cemetery.
Besides Mrs. Wilson, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. E. L. Noe, Louisville and two sons: W. D. Kirby, Ballardsville and R. S. Kirby, Louisville.
Henry County Local July 17, 1942
Dr. Lee Kirkpatrick, Paris, died Friday after suffering a heart attack. He had been in ill health for some time.
Dr, Kirkpatrick, widely known in educational circles, had written several textbooks in history, social science and other fields. He began his career as an educator in Pleasureville about 1901 when he established Pleasureville Academy, which he guided until 1915. The first class to graduate was in 1905, and by 1915 about 175 young men and women had received diplomas.
He became superintendent of the Paris Schools in 1917 and served until five years ago when he retired.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Martin Houston, Lexington and a son: John Lee Kirkpatrick, Owensboro.

Earl �Pedro� Kistner, 77, of Lockport, died Thursday, September 12, 1985 at the Owenton Memorial Hospital, Owenton. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by one son: Jerry Kistner, Owenton; two sisters: Edith Roberts, Bethlehem and Martha Konfrst, Louisville; one brother: Hammond Kistner, Jr., Lockport; two grandchildren and on great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 14th at the McDonald Funeral Home, Owenton. Bro. Eugene Webster officiated. Interment was in the Owneton Cemetery.

Mrs. Annie Kemper Kitson, Eminence, widow of Gardner Kitson, died Tuesday afternoon at the Harlow Boarding Home, Eminence. She was a member of the Shelbyville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sisters: Mrs. Mollie Pollard, Louisville and Mrs. Fannie Wells, Pleasureville; one brother: Obie Kemper, Campbellsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence by J. Gano Herndon. Interment will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

N. J. Koenigstein, 80, formerly of Eminence, died at 7:30 p.m. at his home near Jeffersonville, Indian after suffering a heart attack.
He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Carrie Banta Koenigstein; two sisters: Mrs. Hubert Beard, Jeffersonville and Mrs. William Kruze, New York; one brother: Dean Koenigstein, Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Martha Neal Kistner Konfrst, age 84, of Louisville, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Friendship Manor in Pewee Valley. She was a native of Henry County, a member of the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, former employee of Stewarts Dry Goods and a daughter of the late Hammond and Gertrude Young Kistner.
She is survived by two sons: Larry Shuck, Prospect and Thomas Neal Konfrst, Lockport; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 22nd at the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. Shawn Merithew and Rev. Keith Warren officiated. Interment was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery. Sholar Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hannah J. Knight, 96, of LaGrange, died Saturday, February 8, 1986 at the Jewish Hospital, Louisville. She was a native of Henry County, had been a resident of Oldham County for many years; and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, LaGrange.
Her husband, Arthur Knight, passed away in 1975. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Hallie B. Stamper, Mrs. Lelia Benner and Mrs. Laverne Warner, all of LaGrange; two sons: Mr. Carlos F. Knight, LaGrange and Mr. James M. Knight, Lockport; thirty-two grandchildren; 109 great-grandchildren and 56 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11th at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange. Rev. David Tinsley officiated. Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Kopp, of Worthville, received notice through the Red Cross, Saturday that their son, S-Sgt. William A Kopp, was killed in action, December 12, 1944.
On January 2, 1945, his parents had been notified by the War Department that he had been missing in action since December 12, 1944. In his last letter, postmarked December 24, 1944, the young sergeant told them he had recently been in Luxembourg and St. Malo. He had been awarded the Purple Heart in October for slight wounds received in action in France.
Following his induction into service through the Carroll County draft board, November 25, 1942, he took his basic training at Camp Atterbury, later going to Camp Breckinridge. He had been overseas since March, 1944, and participated in the invasion of France.
Born in Franklinton 22 years ago, Sergeant Kopp went with his parents to Carroll County six years ago, and worked on the farm with his father.
Sergeant Kopp, who was 22 years old, is survived by seven sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Noble Tilley and Mrs. Homer Herndon, Carrollton, Mrs. A. L. Shirley, Route 1, Carrollton, John Henry and Sherman Kopp, Misses Faye, Anna Louise, Jean Marie and Mary Elliston Kopp, Worthville. He was engaged to marry Miss Lula Mae Choate of Evansville, Indiana.

Gladys J. Kranz, age 77, of Bedford, died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange. She was a receptionist at the Hyatt Hotel and the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Setters Feldhaus.
She is survived by two daughters: Gerri Kindrick and Carol Thaman, both of Campbellsburg; one brother: Paul Feldhaus, Tacoma, Washington; two sisters: Barbara Feldhaus and June Rice, both of Latonia; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son: Robert.
Ransdell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Lillie Krebs, age 85, of Louisville, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at her residence. She was retired from Lazarus Department Store and was the daughter of the late Carrol and Stella Erwin Oliver.
She is survived by her husband: Bill Krebs, Louisville; two daughters: Donna Campbell and Mrs. Lynn (Deborah) Jones; one son: Stephen Holmes, all of Louisville; one brother: J. T. Oliver, Bethlehem; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Interment was in the Franklinton Cemetery.
