Mr. Ollie O�Nan, Sr., 85, of Louisville, died Wednesday, November 7, 1984 at the VA Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired farmer, a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Crossroads Lighthouse Church, Eminence.
He is survived by one son: Ollie O�Nan, Jr., Louisville; two daughters: Lillian Arnold< Shelbyville, TN and Katherine Parker, Louisville; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Mrs. Ruth Massey, Eminence and Mettie Williams, Louisville and one brother: Herman O�Nan, Eminence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10th at the Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence. Rev. Paul Harvey officiated. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Jessie Singleton Orem, 92, of Middletown, OH, formerly of Campbellsburg, died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Garden Manor Retirement Village, Middletown, OH/ She was a native of New Castle, the daughter of the late James S. and Lillie Batts Singleton and a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter: Joyce Johnson, Cornelia, GA; two sons: Edwin Orem, Shelbyville and James Orem, Middletown, OH; one brother: Leonard Singleton, New Castle; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church on Thursday, February 14th at 11 a.m. Rev. Russell Winn will officiate. Interment will be in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Scott Ort of Louisville died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 1978 at the Homestead Nursing Center, New Castle. She was a native of Campbellsburg. She was the widow of W. H. Ort of Louisville, who was a very prominent member of the Shrine and Masonic Lodge in Louisville; the daughter of the late Milton Scott of Campbellsburg And a member of the Third Avenue Methodist Church, Louisville.
She is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Harriet S. Salt, New Castle and Mrs. Lucille Burbank, Campbellsburg and several nieces.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 5th from Prewitt�s with Rev. Carl Rucker, pastor of the Campbellsburg Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in the Resthaven Cemetery, Louisville.

Ginger Ortega, age 26 of Eminence, died Friday, December 30, 2005, at the Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville. She was a native of Huston, Texas.
She is survived by four daughters: Desarae, Stephanie, Elyssa and Ashley Ortega, all of Eminence; her mother: Mrs. Eugenio (Gloria) Solis, Eminence; three sisters: Lourdes, Christina and Barbara Hernandez, all of Huston, TX; three brothers: Rogelio and David Ortega, both of Huston, TX and Eugenio Solis, Jr., Eminence.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 2nd at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, New Castle. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Donnie Aletta Ashley Owen, age 83, of New Castle, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 in LaGrange. She was the daughter of the late Austin and Fannie Vincent Ashley, a homemaker, a member of the Sweden Missionary Baptist Church, Sweden and attended the Mt. Zion Church of God, LaGrange.
She is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Bennie (Jane) Lucas, Clarksville, IN; two sons: Richard Terry Owen, Finchville and Dr. Timothy Andrew Owen, Waynesboro, TN; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Owen; one son, James Michael Owen, five sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 23rd, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Corky Klingenfus officiated. Interment was in the Resthaven Cemetery, Louisville.

Glenn C. Owens, Sr., age 77 of Eminence, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville. He was a farmer.
He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. William Dale (Doris) Suter, Eminence, Diane Keith, Shelbyville and Donna Owens, Pleasureville; two sons: Glenn Owens, Jr., Pleasureville and James A. Palmer, Gratz; four sisters: Christine McCoy, Pleasureville, Marie Shelburn, Mt. Washington, Naomi Goodman, Shelbyville and Mrs. Gary (Linda) Henderson, Leitchfield; one brother: Wendell �Dub� Parks, New Castle; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Palmer Owens and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 4th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Jesse Baxter, chaplain of the Masonic Home, officiated. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Glenn Owens, Jr., age 50, of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. He was the son of the late Glenn, Sr. and Mildred Palmer Owens, owner/operator of Bear�s Shop and a small engine repair mechanic.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Owens, Pleasureville; three sons: Michael Glenn Owens, James Clarence Owens and David Earl Peyton, all of Pleasureville; three sisters: Diane Keith and Doris Jean Suter, both of Shelbyville and Donna Owens, Pleasureville; one brother: James A. Palmer, Gratz. He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Peyton.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21st, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Bro. Darrin Woodford, Owen County, officiated. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Nelson �Junior� Owens, age 59, of Eminence, died Friday, August 13, 2004 at his residence. He was a truck driver, a member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, and the son of the late Edward Emory and Louise Woodruff Owens.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta Edens Owens, Eminence; three sons: Ricky Louden and Dwayne Owens of New Castle and Terry Owens, Eminence; four brothers: Jimmy Owens, Kenneth Owens, William Minton and Jackie Minton; two sisters: Rachel Minton and Sue Minton, all of Lenoir, NC; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 16th at 11 a.m. at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Rev. Estil Westrick officiated. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.
