Shelbyville, Kentucky
Gertrude Tingle Bailey, 86, of
Shelbyville, died Saturday, Nov. 21,
2009, at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville.
She was born in Henry County and was a homemaker. She was a member of
Burks Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joda E. Bailey; her parents
Roy Beckham and Sarah Elizabeth and brothers William Tingle and James
Tingle.
She is survived by sons Roy T. Bailey, Douglas L. Bailey and Darrell W.
Bailey all of Shelbyville; daughters Mary Jo Barbour of Shelbyville and
Valendia Ott of La Grange; brothers Lawrence Gene Tingle of Shelbyville,
Cecil Tingle of Eminence and Jodey Lee Tingle of Frankfort; sisters
Frances Stamper and Nancy Reed both of Shelbyville and Lula Parrish and
Margie Wilson both of Frankfort; 14 grandchildren; and 21
great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville with
the Rev. Jesse Baxter officiating. Burial was in Shady Lawn Cemetery in
Shelbyville.

Florence "Elma" Fields Jarman Graves
Simmons, formally of Dayton, OH. Departed this
life on December 4, 2009 in San Francisco, CA. Mrs. Simmons was born in
New Castle, KY on October 9, 1914.
The daughter of Joe Ernest and Mammie Wilson
Fields. She relocated to San Francisco, CA in 1970. She was a graduate
of Dunbar High School in Dayton, OH. She was a beautician. She worked at
Chrisfield Bakery.
She leaves to cherish her memory of her son;
James Jarman, Jr. of Dayton, OH. Sisters, Juanita Lenyoun of Dayton, OH,
Katherine Posey of New Castle, KY, Frances "Frankie" Gray of Youngstown,
OH, Delores (Alvin) Sickles of Shelbyville, KY. A brother; Joe E. Fields
of Dayton, OH. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands James
Jarman, Sr., John Graves and Henry Simmons and also her brother Eugene
E. Fields of Urbana, OH.
Memorial Services will be held in Dayton, OH at
a later date.

Marcia Hundley
Black, age 95 of Ormond Beach Florida , formerly of
Eminence, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Florida Hospital Memorial in
Daytona Beach. Daughter of the late Baker and Lenna Kistner Hundley, she
was and LPN for many hears and member of Eminence Christian Church where
she was the organist for 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbye Dene Brock, Ormond Beach,
Florida; one son Ronald Black, New Ormond Beach; Five grandchildren nd
nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Frank Black.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. Tuesday( Wednesday, July 29) AT Prewitt
Eminence
Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Prewitt, Eminence
Funeral
Home. Rev Michael Duncan, pastor of Eminence Baptist Church will
officiate. Bobby Ellis will assist. Interment will be in the Bagdad
Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Purvis, Jack Purvis, Dr. Ronald Koff,
Ann
Brock, Amanda Haister, Susan Brock, Stefanie Brock, Jessica Brock, Tyler
Black, Brady Cooper, Riley Cooper, Cassie Cooper and Brandon Black.
Pallbeares will be Kevin Black, Marcia Cooper, Heather Bollinger, Spud
Brock, Sandra Black and Justin Bollinger.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributations to Eminence
Christian Church.
