Henry County Local--December 1997

Helen Adams Abbott, age 100, of Sulphur died Wednesday, December 3, 1997 at Bradford Square Nursing Home, Frankfort. She was a native of Henry County, a member of the Sulphur Homemakers for 50 yearsand a member of Sulphur United Methodist Church for 85 years.

She is survived by three sons: John W. Abbott, San Pedro, California; Hugh Browning Abbott, Louisville; and Malcolm Heith Abbott, Frankfort; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1p.m. Saturday, December 6, at Prewitt Funeral Home, New Castle. Rev. Charles Pinkston, Versailles, officiated. Rev. Mike Snider, pastor of the Sulphur United Methodist Church, assisted.

Interment was in Sulphur Cemetery.
