Henry County Local--June 23, 2004

James Robert Acree, age 76, of Smithfield died Monday, June 21, 2004 at LaGrange. He was a native of Oldham County, the son of the late Alvin Elliot Acree and Bertha Pearl Robertson, a retired forklift operator for Armour Meats, a member of Local 227 and LaGrange Heights Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Elouise Thompson Acree; one daughter, Bobbye Sue Clifford, Smithfield; one son, David Lynn Acree, Campbellsville; three step daughters; Teresa Wickham, Campbellsburg; Pamela Louden, LaGrange and Laura Stough, Wisconsin; one step son, Mark Bastin, Campbellsburg; one
brother, Joe Ed Acree, LaGrange; three sisters: Catherine Stoess, Crestwood; Juanita Pyles, Campbellsburg and Eldina Ash, Louisville; 13 gradchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 23) at Arch L. Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Acree will officiate.

Burial will be in Valley of Rest Cemetery.
