Henry County Local--July 28, 2004

Bernard T. Adams, age 89, of Corydon, Indiana, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at his residence. He was a native of Shelby County, a retiree from White Motor Company, a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 89 in Louisville, and the son of the late Bernie and Florence LaFollette Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie G. Fortner, Corydon; two sons: James P. Adams, Corydon; Jerry T. Adams, Sellersburg; two daughters: Linda Mason, Phoenix, Arizona; and Sharon Best, Corydon; one brother, Robert Adams, New Castle; two sisters: Gladys Bramlette, Pleasureville; and Edith Tennill, New Castle; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, and one grand-daughter.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 19 at 2 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home. Rev. Douglas Finney and Rev. Sandy Cooper officiated. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Corydon, Indiana.
