Henry County Local--June 8, 2005

Beulah Harp Adler, age 93, of Austin Indiana, died Friday, June 3, 2005 at Hickory Creek in Scottsburg. She was a sander at the Rocking Wood factory and daughter of the late Mortica and Catherine Long Harp.

She is survived by two daughters: Seattle Goen, Austin, Indiana; Betty Dodson, Charlestown, Indiana; three sons: Tommy Willhite, Scottsburg, Indiana; Billy R. Willhite, Deputy, Indian; Bobby Willhite, Crouthersville, Indiana; two sisters: Laurena Kurk, Louisville; Mary Alice Hawkins, LaGrange; several step-children, 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Willhite; her second husband, Chester Adler, one son and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Spicer, pastor of the House of Prayer in Austin, Indiana officiated, assisted by Tom Hamilton, pastor of Shelby Christian Assembly. Interment was in Pleasureville Cemetery.
