Henry County Local--October 26, 1945 A. J. Aldridge, 81, familiarly known as �Uncle Jack�, died at his home at Turners Station, Friday, after an illness of several months. He was a member of the Port Royal Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Scott Aldridge, South Bend, Indiana, and Victor Aldridge, of Port Royal; a sister, Mrs. Ida Devore, of Port Royal, and several grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Port Royal Baptist Church, Sunday, with Rev. Carl Whirley officiating. Burial was in the Port Royal Cemetery. |
