Henry County Local--April 20, 2005 Sherley Agnes Taylor Arington, age 92, of Smithfield, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Baptist Hospital Northeast. She was a homemaker, member of Sligo Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Robert and Birdie Morgan Taylor. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Welburn (Joyce) Kephart, Prospect; one son, Wilbur Taylor Arington, Smithfield; nine grand-children, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Tandy Arington, two brothers, and one granddaughter. Funerals services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Nick Coleman of Sulphur officiated. Interment was in Sligo Cemetery. |
