Henry County Local--March 1, 1984 Sherman Armstrong, 96, of Eminence, died Tuesday, February 21 at the Suburban Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired barber and a member of the First Baptist Church, Eminence. He is survived by eight granddaughters; two grandsons; thirty great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25th at the Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence. Dr. W. H. Goatley, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery. |
