Willie Clark

Willie "Hawk" Clark, 85 of New Castle died at 3 a.m. Sunday, November 19 at the Homestead Nursing Center, New Castle after a long illness. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jannie Shoemake Clark, New Castle; two sons, Roy Clark, Route 2, Pleasureville and Kenneth Clark, New Castle; one sister, Mrs. Maude Brierly, Port Royal; twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 21 from Prewitt's, New Castle. Rev. David Carter, pastor of the Franklinton Baptist Church, officiated. Rev. Willie Holmes, pastor of the Mt. Zion Christian Church in Franklin County assisted. Burial was in the Franklinton Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Glenn, William H., Wilbert, Gayle, Jerry and Phillip Clark.
