| Grace B. Downey O'Nan, age 88, of Defoe, Henry Co, KY died Thursday, Dec 16, 2010 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Oldham Co, KY. She was born Sept 21, 1922 in Henry County to the late James Humphrey Downey and Flora Bell Bennett Downey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard O'Nan; sisters Nancy Catherine Smith, Cecelia Belle (Tee) Boothby, and Yvonne Sloan; and brothers Samuel Leslie, James Thomas, and Robert Downey. She is survived by three sons, James William (Barbara) O'Nan of Pleasureville, Roger Allen (Iva) O'Nan of Campbellsburg and Howard Lynn (Vicki) O'Nan of Pleasureville; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Carl Rucker officiated. Interment was in Defoe Cemetery. |
