Winfred incumbered with Clempson Aynes shortly after birth. 1900 Census shows Winfred at the age of 13 living with Clemp in the Bald Knob area District. Precinct  #4 of Franklin Co.

Clemp Aynes according to 1891 Franklin Co. tax records [163428]  had 227 acres valued at $275. Nearest resident was Dennis Onan. His personal property

was worth $140.00, watches and clocks $3.00, 4 sheep $12.00, 2 stock worth $125.00.

-Winfred and Minnie Downey lived in the Flag Fork, KY area near Henry and Shelby Co. lines when they were married [7002281 Franklin Co. ID#467]. This was his first marriage and Minnie's second who previously had married Calvin Ethington which died of pneumonia. Minnie was 24 and Winfred was 18 years old. Minnie's death occurred at Lakeland, KY on 6-28-1923 at 4:20 PM  from a crushed pelvis after falling from a window. Death  Certificate #15913. Other- Sarah Green died in the late 1940's. Other-Fanny, had one child J.W.

Wife #2-Winfred married Rose Quillen 6-22-1942, born in Colmar, KY. After Winfred's death, Rose married Ernest Weston and moved back close to where she was raised.
