Thank you for the nice page on the McIntosh cemetery. These are "my" folks,
and I can give more info on the family if anyone wants it, or if you need
anything to add to the page. The little church is indeed still used, I
believe, for weekly services . . . the agreement when the land was given for
the church site was that it would always be used. They hold a cemetery
cleaning and get-together every year in August. The cemetery is actually
called "Alexander's Hope" because it was always the wish of Alexander
McIntosh (he and his wife Mary are buried in the center of the site, the
first ones, both buried in 1863) to dedicate a place for a church, and this
was done by his son Allen at his death.
